Colour Name:F040 - Medium Blue COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather is perfect for repairing scuffs, cracked leather, tears, rips and holes on leather car seats, furniture, sofas, settees, handbags, leather jackets etc. The surface of COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather is smooth and shiny after drying. To hide the repair, a colouration with COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh Dye (available on ) in the respective colour is necessary. This covers the gloss of the COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather. Lightly dab the COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh Dye several times with a sponge on the repair and dry with a hairdryer in between the layers until the desired coverage is achieved. Smooth rough areas and scratches with the COLOURLOCK Leather Sanding Pad before starting any repairs with COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather. COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather has a removable cap. Remove the cap and fill the damaged areas. Evenly spread the COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather with a Spatula. Let the repair dry according to the amount used - about 1-2 hours. Repeat the procedure until the repaired area is as full and smooth as possible. Finally, repairs with COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather must be recoloured with COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh to balance differences in color and gloss. In order to cover the COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather sufficiently, the COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh should be dabbed onto the area several times and dried in between the layers with a hairdryer. For purposes of care, the leather should be treated with Leather Protector a day later. Please Note: COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather Filler is only recommended for damage where a filling is necessary. Scratches and general wear and tear on the colour surface do not require a treatment with COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather. In such cases, we recommend to smooth the surface with the COLOURLOCK Leather Sanding Pad and to refresh the colour with COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh Dye.

good product but expensive
I have used this to repair black faux leather material, not real leather. I found it was easy to apply the product with an old plastic membership card similar to a credit card. The repair seems to wear well so far. I don't know whether it would adhere to real leather so well as faux leather? So for me a good product but expensive.

Great repair for black leather boots.
Great repair for black leather boots.A little runny so needed 3 coats to repair deeply damaged areas. But renovated an expensive pair of boots to wear for 'smart' again.

Works well, but not straightforward to apply.
Does the job BUT takes some trying... it took several attempts before I got it right.

A big improvement!
I'm genuinely thrilled with the improvement in my shoe! I'll acknowledge the colour is slightly too light, but the shoe is now wearable and (I think) the repair not too noticeable from a distance. I paired with the matching colour dye to finish off, which really helped. (Photo attached)
