Tecoom 12604746 Professional Water Pump with Gaskets and Seals Assembly for Chevrolet Cadillac GMC 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L Engine Replace # 12456113 19256261

Received the wrong/defective water pump.Pump was visibly identical with original pump until attempting to install the thermostat housing.Bore was too small and original thermostat was too big and wouldnt go into whole/bore.Had to go to local parts store to get the right part.While at the part store had them to look up several thermostat housing for other engines this water pump is listed as being compatible with(4.8 5.3 and my engine size 6.0) none would fit which led us to believe that the thermostat housing was bored using the wrong specs.Wont go as far as saying seller is attempting to sell defective parts,could be an honest manufacturing mistake.Nonetheless, this made my buying experience less than ideal and caused a huge inconvenience.Mounting the water pump(body) every mounting point lined up perfectly but you wont be able to install the thermostat or bottom radiator hose which makes this pump useless if every pump listed was manufactured using the same specs.
