2 PCS Sewing Thimble Perfect for Pushing Needle Through Thick Fabrics

I don’t write negative reviews very often but this was the most worthless thing ever. For one, trying to press a needle into a thick fabric with the *base* of your finger is extremely awkward! I need to push it in with my thumb! And secondly, the end of the needle got STUCK in it every single time! It’s a soft rubbery plastic similar to the end of a pencil eraser. I finally had to use pliers to pull my needle out bc it was so far in there!!! What the heck. If you’re going to design something to help you push your needle in, for goodness sake’s don’t make it soft! It needs to be solid plastic. And if it doesn’t get totally stuck, it slips in those little concave things and gets hooked up under the holes. Even getting it to tie correctly on your fingers with that ribbon was hard. First I made it too loose and then I made it too tight. This whole thing is just awful in every way. I’m going back to the original metal thumb cap. I appreciate the effort to reinvent the wheel but the execution fell flat.

This product is great. I'm a 6' male with large hands, so finding thimbles for sewing has basically been impossible for me. The adjustable size of this product makes it usable for any size hands. I do a lot of sewing on heavy canvas, so it saves my hands and fingers.It's also really nice to be able to push a thick needle with your palm, since you can get more force on thick fabrics without using too much effort.

It takes a while to get used with this tool, and it doesn't always work. Thimbles work better.

It's ok. The ribbon was not efficient but it worked better after I changed that out for elastic :) I hand sew a lot and this does shove the needle through nicely

This is the first time I have used a sewing thimble of this shape. It is quite comfortable and easy to use... any size of the hand can use it...The colors are beautiful, too...
