Juanitas Hominy

The can is a little cheap. I try to buy canned foods that have a white lining in the can. Hanover Foods does a good job of having a white lining. The food can taste a little like the can. I don't know if that is the taste of "tin", or not. In this case, I washed the hominy a number of times in a colander, and it alleviated the taste of the can. I think that Manning makes the best hominy on the market. Juanita's is better than Goya hominy. On the can it says that this product is Made in the USA. Juanita's Foods appears to be located in Wilmington, California.
