I haven't slept well in at least two years. For awhile I took Melatonin, and it helped, until it began giving me SCREAMING headaches in the middle of the night. I tried a popular herbal remedy, but it, too had a small amount of Melatonin in it. So I took that bottle to the natural foods store to see if I could find something with (most of) the same herbs, but without Melatonin. I found Sound Sleep! It works really well, especially if I don't stay up very long after taking it. I try to have 'lights out' in no more than an hour after taking two capsules. I must say that I do have very strange, vivid dreams on this, though. A Google search of each herb listed showed a couple can contribute to weird dreams, but they aren't scary, just weird. I hope I can continue using this long-term, because sleep is good!

Very calming and sleep-inducing. Safe herbs. Gaia is a very reputable brand, offering high quality herbs and effective combinations. It may take a week or so for your body to respond fully to it. Can be used with usual sleep hygiene habits (no screens 1-2 hrs before bed, regular bedtime and wake time, etc) and CBTI.

I've friend a number of products. This one is the best. It says to use 3 capsules. I usually take two and then when I wake up to go to the bathroom, I may take the 3rd together with a Gaia sleep thru capsule. This is a good brand, but so many factors affect sleep, that a mind at peace and knowing the Prince of Peace are what help the most. Recently it hasn't worked so well. Sleep is so important, it still is the best I've found.

Ingredients seem to be the right ones and Gaia usually makes great products but this one didn't work for me at all. I suffer from severe insomnia. Herbal supplements don't work as good as melatonin for me but they have been effective to a certain degree. Gaia Herbs Sound Sleep did not help at all.I also tried Gaia SleepThru. That one worked better. Still not perfect but at least it had some benefit.

We slept throughout the night Without middle of the night wake ups. Garmin watches recorded sleep scores over 90, and we were not drowsy when we woke up. Like every sleep medication, I wouldn’t take it too often for the body not to get used to it. Also, it’s not the cheapest one to take every night, but it’s a great tool to use once in a while when you need to have a restful night of sleep.

I love this, even just one is really nice for before going to sleep.Just makes for a more peaceful nice..You can take two or three.. I have been using this for close to ten years, it is the only thing that does not cause me to feel drowsy the next day. I actually feel pretty alert when I wake up, which I always find a little odd. the earlier you take it the better, but I have taken it as late as midnight, or if I wake up at 2 am and I am wide eye staring at the ceiling, I will take one then. Thankful.
