Wild Burgundy Snails, a timeless French delicacy, are finally available to gourmands in the United States. As with all gastronomic delicacies, escargots exhibit varying levels of quality. Henri Marie's snails maintain an unwavering reputation for incomparable products. Their formula is quite simple. They begin with authentic Burgundy snails (Hélix Pomatia Linne), found only in the wild in southeastern France. They are then hand-sorted by size, washed, and cooked in an aromatic bouillon according to the same ancestral standards used in 1894. There are 116 types of edible snails, and the Helix Pomatia Linne is the unanimously proclaimed #1 in terms of flavor and texture. Nicknamed the "Land Lobster", it exhibits a similar texture to lobster, with an earthier flavor. These escargots are 100% natural, low-carb (Atkin's friendly) and have very high nutritive levels. This tin of "Very Large" size escargot contains 24 snails. They are the perfect size for serving as an hors d'oeuvre.

Delicious, although somewhat small
These are very delicious, however I didn't think these are that as big as advertised, although maybe that's most likely cuz I usually get the extra-large ones, nevertheless because these are wild, they have that taste that only the wild Helix snails. What's good about these cans is that since each can is just 2 dozen, they're easy to consume fast without the water going bad. I always suggest dumping some the water and adding a Lil bit of white wine(or liqour) which will help it from having the water go bad. Megayummy👌👅

Excellent product.
Escargot are a family tradition every holiday season. The Escargot are a perfect size and great flavor. We stuff one in each large mushroom cap, bake with garlic parsley butter and served with fresh french baguettes that everyone dips in the butter sauce. Huge hit with escargot lovers and people trying them for the first time!
