Matthew Walker Luxury Christmas Plum Pudding (14.1oz)

I bought this fairly last minute, and while I thought it was a little on the pricey side, the old adage says you get what you pay for. This was a quality, tasty Christmas pud. I’ll be buying this again.

Top of the line for package Christmas puddings. If you want it better than this, make it at home with your family.

Matthew Walker Luxury Christmas Plum Pudding (14.1oz) was absolutely delicious. It was moist and so fresh. It could have been homemade, it tasted so great! Even though its only14 ozs, its enough for 4 people after a big Christmas feast and served with a Flambe of Brandy and Brandy Butter, heavenly! Highly recommend the quality and texture of this Christmas Plum Pudding. Enjoy!

It was something I have always wanted to try because my dad's English family always had it as a tradition. It tasted so good. My husband even loved it. I did google videos on how to prepare it and it was easy and worth it. The size isn't a large American cake but it is so good you just want a small piece, and it is perfect.

Not a large pudding but very rich so you don’t need much. It definitely needs brandy butter or a similar sauce to go with it. If you like strong fruity flavors you’ll like this.

This arrived in plastic wrap in a cardboard box. The box was squashed in transit, and the pudding with it. I laughed when I saw it as it more closely resembled a pancake than a Christmas pudding. I hoped it would still taste good, but no. It was overly sweet, like golden syrup, and none of the complex flavors of winter spices and dried fruits. Very disappointing. Will buy the genuine article direct from the UK next year.

The Christmas pudding was an okay taste. Was moist and nice raisins etc. I did not like warming the pudding in the plastic container that it arrived in. I had other puddings that were in a ceramic container for preheating, that I prefer.

Delicious!!! Just like Mom used to make.
