Schaller Security Straplocks

When installed they lock onto my guitar very securely and very easily. I have never even heard of these things until recently, and I have to say they are a great simple invention and I wished I would have known about them sooner.The only complaint I have is that I had to struggle a bit to get them on my strap because it's a little thicker leather. It's almost like it just needs to be 2-3 more threads deeper. I did figure out how to make it work though by first installing the nut without the washer and tightening it down, being careful to not damage the leather as I turned it. After letting it sit like that for a while I unscrewed the nut and the leather stayed "compressed" long enough to let me put the washer and nut back on. It's not going anywhere... Love these things!

I have played guitar/bass for over 30 years, I've tried other brands/styles. The only failure I have ever had with Schallers was from the strap breaking....not a failure of the strap lock. I've had dunlops unlock themselves. I trust these strap locks on every one of my guitars/bass from the cheap $500 ones to my $10k+ custom and even my priceless instruments.

These strap locks are top quality. Their design, fit and finish remove any worries of the guitar strap disconnecting from the guitar when you do not expect it. Nothing would make you more sick than dropping your multi-thousand dollar instrument. Most of us don't have money like famous rock stars so protect your instrument well. These things work!

Took some doing to compress the leather so you could put the washer on, but then it was fine and the straps were on securely.

A gift for my son. He's happy.

Much more functional than others I have used.

I like these better than the Dunlop brand the I bought before from a music store and they're cheaper as well.
