The taste is a little much in terms of adjusting to the tartness/bitterness of it but you get use to it. I enjoy what it does for my blood sugar. I fluctuate in my readings but this product has assisted in my journey to stay consistent.

I have had type 2 diabetes for 10 years. Am on 2 oral meds but A1C has been climbing. Recently was put on weekly injection medication which made me violently ill. I discontinued it after 4 doses. Went back on my oral meds and strict diet but kept searching for a natural product to add. In the past I had tried many that did not help. Then I found Bitter Gourd and researched it. I have now been on it 3 weeks and my blood sugar numbers are dropping steadily ! I can hardly wait for lab values in next Dr. Appt. I cannot believe how well this juice works if one faithfully takes it and watches diet etc. I will never be without it ! I garden and have ordered seeds. I will grow it also, but will always have this on hand. Unbelievable. Nature has provided this for us. I drink it straight. I find the taste refreshing. Grandma always said bitter and sour combat diabetes and she was right. I suggest one try it.. take faithfully. Good results will slowly start happening and then increase rapidly after a few weeks.Update: after 3 months taking twice daily along with oral diabetes meds my A1C has gone from 8.3 to 6.5. I continue with diet ( mostly gluten free) and exercise but that was not helping much before. My triglycerides are finally normal also !!Another update: Dr. Reduced my oral hypoglycemic meds by one glibuteride w goal of totally being off this med in next appt. My B.S. did go up some so I increased my bitter melon to about 2000mg a day and it's covering me well

It’s funny that we’re asked to rate this product on flavor and value for the money. The flavor is horrendous but it’s bitter gourd, it’s not supposed to taste good. ( although this brand is more palatable than some)Value, I’ve purchased cheaper. I take it daily to prevent illness and I’m using it on my dog who was diagnosed by 4 different vets (including one at the University of Pennsylvania) with metastasized bone cancer. He was given 6 weeks to live in July of 2017. As of today 9/13/19 he’s still thriving. His tumors are now visible under his fur and he does need a catheter to urinate at times but he still wags his tail when I sing, jumps on visitors to give unsolicited kisses, chases squirrels and beats me to the car when the keys jingle.He was diagnosed after breaking his leg by merely jumping on the beach. An orthopedic specialist told us it would never heal. 3 vets suggested amputation. His bone healed and he’s got all 4 legs intact. Call it a miracle, call it bitter gourd, call it both. I’ll take it for $40a month.

It is a bit sour, it’s a liquid and easy to swollow

The product was ordered for my husband who is diabetic. He has been taking a cap full in the AM and PM. Says his cravings for sugar is considerably lessened. the taste is fine for plain vegetable juice and we are optimistic that this will help control the diabetes. The 3 star is due to the fact that I ordered the double pack but received one single pack! Company says they will send me another. At the mean time, I am ordering from another seller to compare the taste and price.Update - Just received the second box so now I am a happy customer and changing my review to 4 stars (5 stars if I had received the 2 packages at the same time ;)

This product has muscle and is well able to help manage glucose. It makes a marked difference in glucose whether taken routinely or during sugar spike. I have used it alone and in combination with medication and it works well both ways. If my sugar spikes I usually drink 30 ml for results as an evasive measure. But ordinarily drink 20-30 ml twice a day.The flavor does take some getting used to. To me, it seems to taste like what I would imagine "cold tobacco spit" to taste like. Yep, that's pretty accurate , I'd imagine , but you get used to it after while and its worth it.

I am in my late 40's and was waking up tired after sleeping for 6 to 8 hours. I now wake up feeling really good. I have been taking twice a day for the last 2 weeks and I started feeling better in about a week. I run an construction business and have no time to be tired. Also saving money on coffee.
