YamaMotoYama Sencha Green Tea Leaves

I had high hope for this tea because of some previous reviews saying, "superior to anything I have tried." It's not. I prefer the one I had before this one(see my another review)While it's not bad, it's no better than average sencha. What do you expect from the lowest priced tea you can find in amazon? Then again, it's a matter of taste, it can be very subjective.But for the price, I'd recommend it to the future buyers.

I did buy this tea to try something new. I am not an experienced green tea drinker so take my review with a grain of salt. I found it rather tasteless and flat. I tried few different methods of brewing but did not like the results. I have tried few different kinds of green tea and this is my least favorite.

This sencha green tea leaves a lot to be desired. In the first place the tea brews up yellow --- not green. Not what I was expecting. I was hoping to save some money by replacing my favorite sencha green tea (Yamama - Sencha-Aoba - Extra Fancy Green Tea 100g) with this product since it is less than half the price per ounce --- but alas, this stuff doesn't hold a candle to the Yamama. If you have never tasted good green tea, this might be ok for you --- but if you have ever had really good green tea --- then you won't be satisfied with this much lesser product.

I'v been drinking Sen Cha tea for more than 30 years, and always the test was very good and distinquishable. My last purchase of this tea is such a disappointment: the tea is almost a fine grind, the test is very dull, and no amount of brewed tea will give notisable improvement. Looks like teat is very old, and low grade. Will not buy again, at least on Amazon

Not too bad of a sencha, not the greatest quality, but it definitely gets the job done. I love green tea so this was a nice addition to my collection. It's a good option when you don't want to pay too much.

Just as expected. Quality sencha tea. The only two green teas I like better are rishi sencha and for something different Charleston island green, both of which are very expensive for me. This is a great value in bulk and tastes great.

I have tried almost all brands of green tea in the last 15 years or so and with the exception of Stash, the rest taste like warm water. I found an Asian market in my area that had a large selection of green teas but they were equally disappointing, until I found YamaMotoYama. I have been drinking two to three cups of this every morning for the past two years and see no reason to change. Try it, you'll like it!

Great taste and good for you. I drink this whenever I feel tired, weak or if I think I'm about to get sick. I feel so much better after drinking it, I haven't gotten sick in months!Drinking it hot or cold or sweet, it's still delicious.Plus the price is good, this tea has lasted a long time. My family and I love it!
