Used these for a secondary fuel pump set up on a friends track car.E36 saloon in calypso red if you’re interested. It’s quite well specc’d but don’t tell him that because I don’t want him to think I like it.E36’s are useless turning right - especially into T1 at snett and the following corners. So used this to switch a secondary pump fitted where the sender would normally go.Does what it needs to, switches power to things.

As others have said, some instructions or wiring diagram would be great as the wiring instructions are misleading. Other than that when I metered out the correct connections and wiring it was straightforward.....Two silver and one copper coloured connectors:The two silver are the SPST switch contacts. It matters not which live polarity (whether a pos. or neg. earthed vehicle, though most are negative earth these days) is switched.The copper coloured connector is for the earth return of the LED. Again the switch circuitry sorts out the polarity for positive or negative earther vehicles. The LED only comes on when the switch connection is closed.If you have any doubts, test your wiring out with a 9v 6LR61 battery before connecting to a vehicle battery and taking chances.

I have had two of these type of switch fail in my caravan, so a pack of five will probably be useful for future use. I have not used the LED feature, but can imagine it to be useful in alternative applications.

They are certain to switch you on......... as long as you have the power.Work fantastically and the LEDs are bright enough to remind you that they are still on.I've used them on my motorbike and they are rocking on regardless the weather.

These are very inexpensive rocker switches and I suppose you get what you pay for. They work perfectly, but the faceplate is barely 1mm bigger than the switch itself. I would personally prefer the faceplate to be 4mm wider which would allow for any imperfections in the hole drilled to receive the switch.
