Best AR Mount for One-Inch Scopes
I've bought these in both 1" and 30mm formats, and they are both excellent. Lightweight yet strong, and very simple. Good, quality construction with a nice parkerized-like finish. You'll see a couple of reviews complain about how the scopes rotate a bit as you cinch them down. This is pretty easy to deal with and it's a small price to pay for how efficient and streamlined the designs are.

Great product
Simple design. Easy to install. Looks good. Rugged. It's a great AR scope mount for a very reasonable price.

Need a cheap sturdy scope mount; look no further
First off its an Aero Precision part; nuff said. Now before you flame my review, I am by no means a AP fan boy, I'm more of an ADM or Reptilia or Unity guy. But, the value for money with this scope mount; its unmatched. Holds Zero, weighs like 4 OZs, and looks good. MAKE SURE YOU TORQUE TO SPECS. Don't over torque; but thats really with any mount. Need a cheap and good mount; this is it.

Best value to weight ratio on the market
This is quite simply the lightest, best quality scope mount I have ever seen. Weighing in at 3 oz and change, this mount is as solid as any mount for what it was designed for. The price is extremely reasonable and the product is and for a product entirely made in the USA. The torx tool that comes in the box to attach the mount and to tighten the rings is simply genius. I would recommend this for ANYONE looking to mount an optic on their AR.

Awesome scope mount!
I use this mount on my AR 10 308 with an Sig Buck Master scope. It took about ten round to zero to a half inch group at 150 meters. My son and I have already killed a six point buck with this rifle, scope, and scope mount. Perfect hit in heart and lung! Great scope mount!!!!

The lightest AR scope mount, and best for the money.
This is the lightest one-piece scope mount that I have found. It is high-quality and a good design, like all of the other Aero Precision products I have tried. The Burris PEPR mount is also a great option but it weighs another 4 oz, which doesn't sound like a lot, but ounces add up to pounds, and pounds make a heavy rifle to tote around. There is a learning curve to getting the crosshairs aligned vertically. It usually takes me 3 or so iterations before I can call it good. Using a level on the receiver and another on the scope cap, I offset the scope around 10 degrees or one bubble away from the ring screws. The scope rotates that 10 degrees or so as the scope ring screws are tightened and torqued. There are no instructions whatsoever with the mount, which is a shame. That's the reason for only 4 stars in my review. If you go by the standard torque of 30 in-lbs. for this size screw you will over torque and possibly damage/yield the removable ring pieces. Ask me how I know. I have good luck with 18 in-lbs. and using removable lock-tite. This works on all of my AR's, including 308, 6.5 Creedmoor, and of course 5.56. There are lots of options for AR one-piece scope mounts. I have tried the Burris PEPR and this Aero Precision mount. I much prefer this mount for the weight savings. If you are going to be heavy handling or rough with your gun or just want something beefier I would go with the Burris PEPR. If you are doing the typical target shooting or hunting, I would get the AP mount. For those that have the extra 4-5X the cost of either of these options to spend on a Larue Tactical or a Geissele mount, I am happy for you. I am sure they are great products on par with everything else those companies make. I don't think you get enough "improvement" over the Burris or AP to justify the difference in cost, but that's just me.

Recommended torque insufficient; lightweight and sleek, tho
I was surprised when my scope was 10 degrees or so askew and no longer level with the upper receiver after only 60 rounds through a 6.8 SPC AR platform rifle. I had used a torque wrench (a FAT Wrench) to torque it to Aero's recommended in-lbs, yet the screws holding the rings together (but not the screws holding the mount base to the rifle's rail) had come loose. Have added 3 in-lbs and seems to have fixed it. Next time will need blue loctite or similar threadlocker. All that said, it weighs very little and is out of the way, so perfect for hunting or Recce set-up.
