Jumper LARGE RED

The Hotterdog Jumper in Large, is exactly what I was hoping for to keep my Vizsla warm and comfortable! This jumper is incredibly well-made and designed with active dogs in mind. The fabric is soft yet durable, with just the right amount of stretch, so it moves with my dog without restricting any of his natural motion.The “Large” size fits my Vizsla perfectly. He’s about 50 lbs with a lean, muscular build, and this jumper fits snugly but comfortably. It covers his back and chest well, which is great for those chilly walks or damp days when he needs a bit more warmth. The high-quality fleece material not only keeps him cozy but is also lightweight enough that he doesn’t get too warm or overheat.I also love how easy it is to put on and take off—no zippers or tricky straps to deal with. This is a really good product, particularly if your dog doesn't like a hairdryer and takes a long time to dry off after a bath. My little bichon frise doesn't mind her jumper at all and was very grateful of it when she was shivering after getting wet in the rain and sea. She soon warmed up and dried nicely when she had her jumper on. It doesn't restrict movement in anyway and is lightweight and easy to get on and off, washes well and dries very quickly. Extremely pleased with this and I must say that she looks very cute in her jumper! I have the small size and have to roll the sleeves up a bit as she only has short legs but body length is great.It was also very useful after an operation. It helped to stop her licking her wound, whereas the cone provided by the vet, made her frantic.The jumper was excellent when camping a few weeks ago. As the evening drew in, I put her jumper on her and it stopped her from getting cold and damp and kept her warm overnight.Such a good purchase that I have ordered another so that whilst camping, we can have one drying whilst the other is being worn.

UPDATE. After too much growling at being manipulated, i have inserted zips down the centre back of each of the green and blue coats and at last have a great fit and warm comfortable coat for TIllyLovely quality fleece and washes easily.I've tried the head first and the feet first approach to putting this on and either way makes Tilly grumble. I like the look of the turtle neck but have ended up taking it off and sewing binding around the neckline to make this easier to put on/take off.Maybe it's even the depth of the chest and a little tight around there but she's only a 10.5kg cavachon and I believe medium is large enough. Maybe if there was some elasticity in the chest hem it would help? I do like the longer under body fit though.I also had to shorten the legs.I still give 4 stars because it's a great coat just not quite so easy to get on. Looks great on.

The large fits my adult male Vizsla perfectly. He is not the biggest specimen of his breed so consider going up a size if needed. It is a bit of a fiddle to get on because it is snug but my dog seems really comfortable wearing it on walks and in the cold kitchen (16-17c). I can tell it is really effective at holding his body heat and it seems to allow him to settle quickly for a nap. It doesn't get in the way of him using the toilet because there is a small elasticated section of waistband which holds the garment close to his body. I haven't washed it yet.

I have a Pekingese and she has short legs so wanted something to keep her dry without it being too heavy for her. I measured her and the fit was the small size. When it came, it is a very nicely made item, the right colour. The problem I have and why only three stars is that it was a nightmare to get it on. Normally with jackets there are either elasticated panels or fastenings, but this does not have anything like that. I tried putting her head through first then a leg, then the other leg. But it was an incredible struggle. I finally got it on, but an increasingly upset dog was the price - she normally doesn't bat an eyelid at all, It fitted and looked lovely, but then came a reverse struggle to get it off, this took even longer and by the time I'd got it off her she was frantic. I gave it a couple of days, because I was reluctant to return it, felt I was giving up. Tried again, this time it was even more of a struggle trying to get her legs through then the head, then tried the head first and then the legs, nothing worked except upsetting a small dog who is normally calm and not bothered. So reluctantly returned it. I gave it a 3, nicely made and good quality, just not for my small dog.

Just received this jumper today, perfect fit for my dog. Decided to 'field test' its water repellant capabilities (I am aware it's only meant to be rain repellant..) Took Oscar to his favourite place, a field that has lots of surface water..and mud.. you need wellies... Well, within minutes of being in there, his new jumper was two tone, the chest and stomach being covered in mud. 45 mins later at home, I peeled it off. Despite Oscar's best efforts to get as dirty and wet as possible, the bits of him that were left uncovered by the jumper were mucky as usual, however, beneath the jumper was a different matter.. a small patch of damp between his front legs that was quickly dried by towel. The rest, bone dry. Impressed! The normal half hour drying marathon dealt with in a few minutes. And no shivering dog.. bonus! Excellent product. Highly recommended. Going for the swim test next...

Have purchased multiple equafleece jumpers before but this is better for my dalmation, sizing is tricky but he is much happier in this
