I was really leery about buying this ice maker, but a friend had one and liked it, so I bought it. Now that I've had it for over a month and have used it many times, I LOVE IT !!!. The ice is made pretty quickly, 9 pieces at a time. Then 7 minutes later, another 9. I really like the shape and texture of the ice. It is rounded with a hole partway through the middle. I'm an ice chewer, and I have broken teeth on the rock-hard cubes I made with ice trays in my freezer. These rounded cubes (oxymoron) are less dense and seem to almost be oxygenated and are easily chewable. Sure, they might not last quite as long as a big hard ice cube, but they are a pleasure to have in a glass of cold iced tea or bourbon and 7-Up.I usually only write reviews when I am unhappy with a product. I like this ice maker so much that I am now writing a positive review ... for a change. I highly recommend this ice maker.

Since there are only two of us in the household, this machine is perfect for our needs. Once a week I use the ice maker to replenish the ice supply. I package the ice in quart-sized freezer bags to replace what had been used during the week. For a bigger ice usage, a gallon-sized freezer bag would work even better. Now, I must admit that this takes a little time and I have to be patient, but it has well been worth it. What a help it has been not to have to run to the store, sometimes in an emergency situation, to buy the big bags of ice. The big bags are not only heavy for me to handle, but they take up a big space in my freezer. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this ice machine to replace our old one that died. This one is great making ice quickly. The one thing that I love is that the cover fits snugly. Our old one did not, so fruit flies would find their way into the ice and drown in the water-ugh! Was cleaning it all the time as this year was especially bad with the flies. But it died-yay! The only thing is that this one's is a bit noisy. Not crazy, just sounds like the dishwasher is running. We have it on the counter all the time as the ice machine in the fridge died two years ago and repairman said it would be worth the money to repair as fridges only last about 12 years and ours was 13 at the time. this is so much more convenient than having to either make ice with trays or buy bagged.

This ran fine for a couple of months then started having weird symptoms I couldn’t figure out. So I would just do a total reset and unplug it then back in and it continued working as normal….until …it didn’t and have to keep resetting it now. Have another brand much smaller in my camper and it runs fine, had it longer and it makes a lot more ice before shutting off from sensor full. The smaller one’s ice doesn’t melt very fast unlike this big one. It’s ice melts as soon as it lands in basket. VERY POORLY MADE MACHINE

I just received my Ice Maker on Tuesday. I Took it out of the box and plugged it in on Wednesday. Using just the photograph instruction enclosed in the box wasn't too helpful. It was only confusion but thank you for doing a demonstration on the company channel on YouTube, that made it much easier.The ice Maker does save on energy, it's easy to clean and my 12 years old son enjoys eating the ice. The Price was well worth it.

I’ve had it for three months, still working great. I pretty much have it making every day. It makes a glassful of ice in about 5 minutes. Just keep water in it and it will work all the time.My wife and I probably get 10 glasses of ice between us a day.We don’t have an automatic ice maker in the fridge, this does well serving that purpose.So far it is doing exactly as expected.

I purchased this ice maker to supplement our ice consumption when having large parties. This ice maker is extremely noisy. Not just when the machine drops the cubes, but while it’s running. I now start making the ice before the party and freeze it in my freezer, which then takes much needed space.
