I bought these for my husband. He has some of the thickest and most beautiful hair i have ever seen (yes, i have hair envy). He stays really active at work and, considering his hair is almost butt-length, he tends to get a lot of flyaways and hair ties don't hold it back tight enough for his thick hair. He stole my pink scrunchie and has been using it for about 6 months now because it was the only one that ever held up decently and i want my scrunchie back. He loves these new hair ties! He (a little reluctantly) gave me back my pink one! It has a strong hold and he gets no flyaways, it also gas good stretch for his thick hair. Out of curiosity, i tried one too. My hair is curly, frizzy and, as of late, thinning :( this held my hair so tight that i struggled to get it out of my hair. I kind of wish i hadn't done it because my hair comes out so easily now, i thought for sure i was gonna pull what little i had left out with this hair tie! It's that tight! Great for long thick hair. Perfect amount of stretch for a normal or tight ponytail. They do get stretched out a little (nothing compared to regular hair ties) so I wash them every couple of weeks, in cold water on the delicate cycle and air dry. They are good as new after. I'd buy more but I don't need too, two years of constant use and they don't seem to have lost any elasticity. Highly recommend for thick hair.

I have played softball and basketball from when I was 11 thru college and my hair was constantly falling down and I had fix my hair constantly. I can’t even tell you how many hair ties I have broken in my life.I started working out in the gym and again I had to fix my hair 3-4 times for a 45 minute session. I was going to just buy thicker normal hair ties but these caught my eye. I am so glad they did.These things are amazing!!! I can go to the gym and my hair stays in place the entire time. I was deep cleaning the house this weekend and my hair did not move. Typically I would have to fix my messy bun 5-6 times.I will never buy another type of hair band again. I am going to get these for my kids, I need them a bit smaller so I will see if they have that. But these are life changing l.

I have never been able to find a hair elastic that works for my thick hair. This product works all day and never fails. Love it so much!

I have thick and wavy hair that cannot be handled well by the typical hair tie. The typical hair tie will snap and break when I attempt to wrap it around my hair 3 times. The burlybands are great for my hair! I find that wrapping it around twice is great for a looser ponytail. If I want it more secure, I add another burly and. This can create a bit of a bulky ponytail, but it’s secure and I know the bands won’t break like normal ones would.

I got these hair ties after "blowing out" all of my other ponytail holders. I've got slick-straight, fine-but-thick hair that needs to be wrangled aggressively to keep it out of my face - my hair tends to slip out of ponytails and hair clips so I'm used to having to re-adjust and redo whatever updo I've got going on.This is not the case with this ponytail holder. Once I've got this in place, it STAYS PUT. I was skeptical at first - the band is strong enough - like a really beefy jersey material that naturally rolls over on itself; but it doesn't have rubbery grippy bits like all those other "no slip" holders I've had in the past (and eventually stretched out). But it really stays put!These are a bit more expensive than what I usually pay for this type of thing, but just for the fact that it actually does the job - that's worth the price.

I purchased these in September and was super happy, because they don't get tangled in my thick and curly hair. Love them! Buuuuuuuuuttttt, I ran through all of them by the end of November. They just get so stretched out so fast--not durable at all.

I've been hunting these down for ages now, and I was so happy to have finally purchased them. I am not sure if it's due to the layering of my hair at the moment, but I do have issues using them after styling my hair. I find the next day (or many hours after styling) it works because my hair is dry enough to be held in a higher position. In terms of leaving marks... I think all hairbands do that! But this hairband does not snag which is great!

Bought these bands because of the reviews & didn't disappoint. It holds up my bum length, heavy hair perfectly. Only a slight kink sometimes but barely. Only didn't give full stars as would love a 4 pack to create symmetrical styles, especially for the price. Happy to pay though as I don't want to cut my hair just so I can have it stay tied up.

Poor quality for the money!

I love the thickness and early on was grateful I only needed 1 elastic (instead of 3 of the standard ones) to hold my hair. And they do work well enough in a lower messy bun and when I’m at work and less active.I was definitely excited to read that if you switch them out each day they won’t stretch out and will go back to their shape. Sadly, this is not the case. After a few wears I am needing 2 bands in my hair to hold it in place.What else is awkward is they haven’t stretched enough to loop 3 times and are way too lose for 2 loops around. And I definitely need 2 if I am working out of everything just falls out.Is not worth the insane extra cost comparatively and I will be goi f back to the cheap goodie brand elastics!
