Winch AND Compressor!
This is a very large and heavy winch which requires an offset mount. Having said that, I love it. It's fast strong and the compressor kicks. With an auxillary tank you can run air tools. I also bought the wireless remote but was disappointed to learn that it will not turn the compressor on and off, only the wired remote can do that. I highly recommend this, especially with a JK where real estate inside the engine compartment is limited and compressor options thin.

Great winch
Warn makes a great winch. We installed this on my 2015 jeep and it fit well with the bumper system I am using. The warn winch on my old jeep always did the trick and I am looking forward to this winch being there when I need it.

Think twice before you buy this.
This is a garbage product. Warn has had issue with the thermal switch for several years now. I believe since 2007/2008 timeframe. I had hopes that the legendary brand would have found a fix and implemented a solution. I am going my second round with the thermal switch, effectively leaving the system inoperable. From what I understand the weakness is the unit getting wet. I did wash my Jeep a couple times when it was new and that created my first issue. It was repaired by Warn and I am guessing rain threw it out of whack the second time. They do sell a cover for it, that should keep it from getting wet, however I cannot use the cover because my winch was installed but the dealer and is in-set in the bumper. A really nice install, but I can’t fit the Warn cover on it. I should say that when it worked. It worked really well. Unfortunately, I am going to have to get an on-board air system built in, and get a new winch. I bought mine through my dealer, but wanted to leave a review so someone didn’t run into the same issues that I have.

great winch+compressor
I've had this winch installed on my IH Scout 800a for ~4 years now. I've actually used the compressor more than the winch, but both work great. Had a custom bumper built around this winch. Would definitely buy again.

small winch
it will not pull my 07 dodge 3/4 ton diesel out of the mud or snow banks with out the use of two snatch blocks with out stalling, and the 16.5 will single line put on my 1 ton. i do like haveing the air compressor handy for my rear air bag. so i would say if you can aford it get the 16.5
