Extraordinary replacement part.
I gave a rating of five stars because it took me a few minutes to take the screw that was holdiing my original SPX1070-K; and inserted the weir only to the old part that was cemented on the opening of the skimmer. It fit perfectly with no hazel.Excellent product. It is working as good as the original since it was install. It meets my expectations and I did the installing without help from anyone. This make me feel very proud in front of my wife and grandchildren.

Perfect fit replacement part. Easy to install.
Super easy fix for a broken weir flap. Very easy to install. I ended up only using part of the bracket assembly that came with it because the other half was still installed in my pool. Slide down into place and screw to attach.

Exact part. Exactly pricey.
Yep, it fit like a glove. Yep, it cost WAY more than all the similar knockoffs I had to eventually return because they did not work.

Works great
I purchased this replacement door after I purchased a home that had a pool in the skimmer did not have a weir door on the skimmer. All of the floaty’s on the surface of my pool passed by my skimmer without being picked up. As soon as I installed this on my skimmer it was like a night and day difference in how my skimmer properly cleaned the surface of my pool. The weir door comes with a little foam bumper but in my opinion this little foam bumper is not needed and falls off after a few months of being in the water on the door so I threw this part away overall great product good replacement.

Easy and fits my 1070 series
Easy after finding another review that explained the install a little better. Giving my more detailed steps to hopefully help others. I did it in about 5 min *pumps off and…. Go*1/ take the screw out the new and slide off the piece attached to the flap2/ go to your skimmer and reach in to locate the existing screw3/ unscrew old and slide it up to get it off, I had to use my screw driver to push up to get it going4/ slip the new down the skimmer while using your other arm wrapped around the opening to slide it into place5/ keeping your wrapped around arm holding it in place (because it will slide out if you don’t) use your other hand to hand screw in the screw enough to keep it in place6/ grab the screwdriver and tighten7/ feel for where the flap meets the top of the skimmer door opening for a rectangular shape that comes down and attach the sticky foam there (not on the door)8/ have a drink and dry off

Size
Will not fit standard Hayward skimmer with same part number. It's larger by 1/8" or so. You will have to cut plastic all along the way. Then mounting screw won't align with a skimmer. You will need to drill a new opening. Once everything done, it will work. I'm not sure why it's wider than a skimmer with same part #.
