Torri® Grit for Birds (Energy Supplement)

I saw a few comments where they mentioned its a food and their birds dont like this compared to their regular food. Firstly this is a suppliment for your bird which helps them to lay eggs and not to spoil their eggs it also improves their feathers and strenghtens their bones in other words its a calcium suppliment for them not a full time meal which they would hogg on to. Dont expect them to eat this like they eat their regular food. Birds will consume this in small quantities and you will surely see its benefits in a few weeks. I do agree we can also prepare this suppliment at home "if you have time".

Bought this for my pigeons. Out of curiosity I had ordered it, but this time I have ordered 4 more packets, excellent results. The pigeons immune system is better inspite of the bad rainy weather conditions. Their flight timings have increased and their feathers have got a glow of perfect health. One star I have deducted because of the around 30% of quantity being in powder form, which the pigeons don't find it appealing to eat.

Bit disappointed as the seller didn't state the ingredients in the description. But if you find seashells around then do a DIY grit instead of buying this product. Anyway it's useful for me... I'm gonna use some salt, charcoal, dried mud, and some dried shrimp and of course seashells mixture which is more healthy IMO than only providing seashells as grit. Some seashells are not finely crushed.P.S. I'm using this for pigeons

My cockatiel birds are not eating this, its better to buy fruit mix millet seeds for this price.

My Budgies were not laying eggs since more than a year. After doing some research and user reviews about different supplement product; I found this to be genuine and working. The supplement which includes shells, really help in improving protein diet for the birds.In a months time, my 2 of the budgies had laid 3 eggs. I'm really happy to have this and would recommend it.

There's sharp edges of grit with lot of lot of gravel I throw all on dustbin because the gravel can't be remove from it waste of money

As these are crushed shells they are very sharp , so you need to grind them before giving to Birds .
