Dog Gone Cute-Keep your Canine Companions Warm this Winter in Their Very Own Knit Coats

Its a thin paperback (about 20 pages) and has a variety of easy patterns. Im a beginner knitter, but have been crocheting for years, and I've found this is a great way to practice knitting. The patterns aren't the most clear that I've seen, but are still relatively easy to follow.

Thought there were more patterns to choose from. Overall, I do like the few that there are in this booklet!

Easy patterns

I'm trying to make a sweater for an older labrador, and finding a pattern in her size is hard to do. I found this little pattern leaflet to be excellent in explaining how to measure a dog, and in giving patterns for larger dogs as well as the tiny ones other books seem to prefer. Buy this pattern set first, and then add your own pattern stitches.

This is the best book if you like to knit for your dog....I have tried lots of styles and patterns in other books and this books beats them all for instructions and ease of construction. Plus there is style for everyone....I like to do Aran style type sweaters and again I will repeat myself this book has one of the best patterns for sizes and construction....Highly reccommend it!

These are nice looking sweaters for my little guy. I haven't had the chance to get started on one yet, but right after my husbands slippers are done I will get right to work on a sweater.

I'm still knitting a coat i b have gound the wool and needles are for uk knitters so hope i have got it right a bit confusing.

I really like these patterns and am pleased to see them in all the sizes rather than a pattern just being available for one size. I have lots of friends with dogs who would appreciate a woolly jumper/coat especially older dogs when the weather is cold.The patterns are clearly written and easy to decipher.The photographs illustrate the pattern well and show how it will fit your dog ie any fastenings. They are also good to refer to whilst knitting as sometimes it is easier when you can see a clear picture along with the instructions. I find that it can make instructions easier to follow.I have bought dog patterns on other websites but usually they only fit one size of dog and it can be difficult to find a pattern that you like in the right size to fit your pooch.

Some very good patterns, some a bit extreme as I knit them for rescue centres .

Already knitted up the Santa jacket twice, once for my staffing and one for my friends dog. We have just rescued another one, so knitted the snowman one, and did the scarf in man utd colours. They look really good, and I loved knitting them.
