I use this alot on all different types of meats and in soups and such. Good flavor and heat level. Was a great price. It is about 1/2 the cost of others and from what I can see, is the same thing. Good quality. will and have bought again

Just bought my second batch. It tastes and smells great and it is a good value. The holes on the top on my second purchase were laughable though. It may have been a mistake but the holes on one side were so tiny you would maybe be able to get table salt out of them but no way these pepper flakes are coming out of there. You can open the other side that is just wide open instead however if you are clumsy like I can be you end up eating a very spicy bowl of Ramen when you dump out too much lol. As long as this is available I will be purchasing my CRP from here from now on.

Great value good quality but the lid holes are too small to use the shaker only the half open/pour side works.

Crushed pepper is not a fussy spice - lasts a long time - and in my opinion, no reason to get an expensive one (which I might for some spices).This jar is huge and a very good bargain. Tastes just like every other red pepper flakes I have ever used.

I neglected to really take a look at the quantity. This big boy will probably last my lifetime, I think I’ll share some. But that’s not because they aren’t tasty or don’t add just the right amount of spice to my favorite foods. It’s just that it’s a big jar and I’ve got a somewhat delicate palette and don’t cook with large amounts. It’s very potent (to me) and a little goes a long way. But don’t let the large quantity scare you. If you don’t use a lot of spice in your food, this is economical so share some spicy goodness with your family and friends.
