Awesome Ocarina for beginners!
About a year ago, I found out that an Ocarina is a real instrument, something I had not known since I played the game. After finding this out, I listened to YouTube videos and instantly fell in love with the sound of the Ocarina and wanted to play it. I found Songbird's app for iOS and practiced with the 4 hole Ocarina and was amazed at how fun it was to play, but I hated how limited it was. After doing some research, I found out that the 7 hole has the SAME RANGE as the 12 hole, which excited me greatly, since I wanted an Ocarina that looked true to the game as well as being playable. Now, they do have a ceramic one for the Ocarina of time, both in 7 hole and 12 hole variants, but they are $108, which I certainly didn't want to spend on my first Ocarina. This Ocarina bridged that gap, by being affordable, looking true to the game, and being playable. Speaking of playable, how does a $20 plastic Ocarina sound? Now, generally, I don't trust cheap instruments, as they have a tendency to break, be uncomfortable, or just plain sound bad, which was my experience with my first guitar. However, this Ocarina, after using it for about a week, sounds AWESOME. For a plastic Ocarina, it does a very good job at sounding like an instrument, rather than a toy. That said, it IS very loud. This Ocarina, while sounding great, only sounds great when you put enough air through it. At lower pitches, it can sound great with minimal air, but the higher notes forced me to use more air than I expected to, meaning this is not a quiet Ocarina. If you are in an area with a lot of people who may get annoyed at your instrument playing, do not get this. The only other problem is condensation. If you play this for a little while, it will collect moisture, and needs to be blown while covering the middle back hole to eliminate the sound. (I then usually take a microfiber cloth to dry it up.) This can be remedied by holding your hands over the Ocarina for a few minutes to warm it up and then the condensation only collects after 30 minutes or so, once it warms up. However, it is still an awesome Ocarina, especially for $20.This is by far, the best Ocarina on so many levels. If you are looking into learning how to play an Ocarina, (a 7-hole one anyways) or just want to get it as decoration, for $20 this is an AWESOME deal. I highly recommend it, and since it uses the hole pattern of the 6 hole pendant Ocarina, it stays familiar.Thank you Songbird, for making an affordable, good looking, and great sounding Ocarina for all to play.

Great for playing beginner but instructions confusing and unclear.
The figuring takes some getting used to from my other ocarina, but still learnable. The product great for the price, looks nice (though coloring could be darker and may do myself), plastic (but doesn't fully look it), overall very nice product. However, I am not a huge fan of the booklet, it has nice choices for music and the notes to play them, however, they do NOT so the beat nor tempo, any such thing on how to play it properly more so just what notes they are. If you know how the song goes by memory overall you are fine, if not the booklet can be a bit useless and may as well just look up the whole thing online like I did for music.

Gorgeous replica ♡
My eldest nephew and I discovered Songbird Ocarinas at a very young age and were instantly captivated by their overall appearance and that they were "really for real playable Zelda ocarinas." Of course at the time since we were only around maybe eleven and twelve respectively, owning a legitimate Songbird was quite out of the question due to their generally steep price.Fast forward a decade later. I was looking for a gift for my nephew's twenty-first birthday that was hopefully less than $30 with prime shipping because stupid me had forgotten that his birthday had been at the end of the week and I was low on cash but still wanted to find him something I thought he would enjoy. By chance I stumbled on this Songbird replica and instantly remembered the company's name, and seeing how it was plastic and would be the least likely to break during shipping (since I didn't have any time to waste for shipping emergencies, again, plus he would be less likely to accidentally break it or have his cat knock it off a shelf) it seemed like the perfect choice.I didn't take any photos of it when it came in, but Songbird truly dominates with quality. The OoT gift box was gorgeous by itself and the ocarina was beautifully painted with very few flaws - just a few spots from crafting of it, which some of them gently wiped off or were almost completely unnoticeable. It came with a small booklet to reach you the basics of playing it as well as a few LoZ songs, including the Song of Time on the back of the box.He hasn't fully learned how to play it quite yet, but he seemed to enjoy the gift and said the sound was pretty close to the game although a tiny bit off to him. Plus it makes a great LoZ collection piece. The photos advertised are as accurate as they come and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. I might even have to order one for myself to play with one of these days~
