No female wants thinning hair, but it happens to many of us. I was only 37 when my hair started thinning and I only have half the hair I once did. You can see my scalp through my hair and I used to wear a topper, until I discovered this product and use it in conjunction with Febron hair fibers. I use ColorWow closer to the hairline, because it can be applied very precisely and looks natural. In order to cover the top of my head and crown, that's where Febron comes in. Combining these products has saved me from being self-conscious and looking much older than I am. Tip: (pat gently first if applying fibers) and use hairspray to "set" the product(s). The hairspray really helps the powder and fibers stay where you put them! Lasts all day!

I did my research on hair color cover ups because I need to stretch out my times between salon visits. This product was highly recommended by several sources. I tried it today. Did not disappoint! Got medium brown and red to blend for my preference. Easy to apply. No fuss, no muss. Blends beautifully and easy to remove from skin when needed. Extremely lightweight. Not sticky. Won’t come off when I run my fingers over the hair on which I applied it. Comes out completely when shampooed. I did find that it tends to adhere even better to “dirty” hair, which makes sense, as residual oils or hair product like gel or wax would help the powder adhere even more. It does work fine on clean hair, too. Just takes a bit more application. Love this and will definitely use to go longer between salon visits!

This is good stuff. They discontinued my beloved tarte stick and I had to find a new fix. This is great. I don’t use it to cover skin, I use it to cover some grey in between my color. I have gray, but more brown than gray , so I can go in and do touch ups and it sprawls my dye times. I don’t like to dye often due to the fact that it isn’t great for us. Yet, I don’t like gray. This works.

Really works!! Idk how it adheres so well! I have sensitive scalp and sometimes it does make it itch

After reading so many great reviews, and seeing before/after pics, I decided to give this product a try. Although the price was steep (for eyeshadow sized powder), I figured if it truly works, it’ll be worth it. Plus, I needed quick coverage to take some photos. I have long dark brown hair & at the time my grays, which are more silvery/white, needed coverage of about an inch.WELL, I cannot begin to express how LONG (hrs) it took and how much I had to “blot” onto the same spot to “cover the gray” and just at the top where my roots were exposed from parted line!The “positive”: the powder eventually “covered” but that was after applying so much over and over to the same spots. Although, it never truly got to the “dark brown” … but it was basically a shade lighter so it kind of blended. Maybe it would’ve looked dark brown on someone with darker “pepper” grays vs lighter “salt” grays. 🤷🏻‍♀️NEGATIVES: you cannot touch your hair afterwards to fix, scratch, and definitely not to run fingers through (beware of a breeze)!! The loose powder on scalp transfers onto your fingers/hands (my fingers looked like I was prepping to be finger printed lol) and it also causes loose powder on scalp to find its way to your face! Trying to remove black powder falling on face after applying make-up and minutes before my photos…nightmare!! 👎 And I didn’t even apply my makeup until after I applied WOW to my roots just in case. Unfortunately, I only used this product once but it was too late for me to return it, so it was money wasted. That said, I figured I’d write my first ever review to hopefully save someone else time and money.

Amazing. I have purple balayage and I needed my hair to not be purple for just one day for an interview. This stuff saved me from having to dye my hair.It took a lot of powder to cover it all up, and I did a few layers with hairspray in between, but it turned out great! You could see there was a bit of tint, like I had some lowlights or something, but it was hardly noticeable, and blended in very well.With the hairspray, it didn’t rub off much either. I wouldn’t suggest getting wet, using it with your hair down or rubbing up against your clothes, or getting noogies. If you avoid those things, highly suggest for a temporary “professional” look!(Edit to add - if I use just a little bit in one area, it doesn’t rub off at all. It’s the amount I had to use that made it more likely to rub off)

I ended up buying this because my highlights were growing out. I try to use it, it’s very time-consuming and didn’t give me the results I was looking for. I think it’s easier just to use a spray on blonde colored dry shampoo

Best grey coverage between coloring I have ever purchased. Not sticky to the touch. Stays on.
