Blendin Replacement 48 ounces Stainless Steel Jar Set with Handle, Compatible with Oster & Osterizer Blenders

This stainless steel replacement for an Oster blender has worked perfectly and represents a solid value at the low price point at the time of purchase. Unlike many cheap "stainless steel" products, this unit has exhibited no issues with staining, or spot corrosion. The metal is quite thin, but has already survived a drop intact. The design can lead to splash/spray if filled beyond 1/4 capacity, so be sure to use the supplied lid. There are small measurement hashtags inside the pitcher and they are only in metric. The measuring hashtags are in 250ml increments. Just remember that 1 (US) cup is 240ml and adjust accordingly.

This is not super thick metal like a frying pan, but it's not flimsy, either. It is a nice replacement for my broken blender jar. My kid won't shatter this one. Definitely better than plastic, too! The metal reminds me of old-timey milkshake blending cups. Bonus: it's one cup larger than the standard one I'm replacing. Fits and works well with my osterizer. The only thing I would change is that the jar is missing that little protrusion at the base that keeps it from turning (and unscrewing) while the blender is running. Not a big deal if you are aware of it, but would have been nice. I would buy this again.

I bought it because I was unable to get a metallic cup where I live. The cup is really good. The metal looks really good, like of a pro kitchen, and the base fitted my blender. I initially measured it and it gave me two different measures, depending on where I put the tip of the tape. But I decided to go for it, and it fitted.There are definitely some differences to having a see throuhg cup. So I have to sense more when a blend is ready.Since the size is bigger to what I used to have, I needed to adapt when making juices. But it satisfied my purpose that was to have a metallic cup and not the glass one that broke and was heavy, or the plastic one that was a no for me for the environmental impact.

Lightweight, easy to use and maintain. You have to hold it while you blend because it can unscrew itself from the base with the motor movement.

After many many years the original plastic Oster jar cracked.I was debating whether to buy a new mixer, of get a replacement jar....plastic or glass.I decided to get a replacement jar as the 50 year old Oster is a tank.....cannot be compared with todays machines. So the decision to get plastic or glass.....then I stumbled on this stainless unit and ordered it.Great decision as it is lightweight like plastic and more rugged than glass. No worries about mixing hot liquids nor about putting it in the dishwasher (my old plastic jar became cloudy due to putting it in the dishwasher).It comes complete with gasket, blades, and screw on mount.Very happy !!!!

My first glass jar was broken and cut my finger. I ordered a new one and broken again. I do not like plastic jar because plastic particle fallen into food. So I ordered this one made of stainless. It works great. No more worry of plastic particle and no worry about breaking easily. The price is very reasonable, it also comes with blade and cover. Highly recommended.
