Great mallet for young children
These are great mallets for Orff xylophones. They are best used on Alto Xylophones, but can work on Sopranos too. The heads are not too hard but are heavy. They make it easy for younger children to get enough sound out of the xylophone.

OK - not what I ordered, but can use for other percussion needs.

Great product!
Not too quiet, not too loud, not too soft,not too hard. Tough as nails. I love these mallet for my metal xylophone.

Very long handles
These mallets have an extremely long handle. I should have looked at the measurements. I intended to let me 21 month old twins use it to bang on some bells but the handle are way too long.
