Needs a counterpoise
Does not have the counterpoise coil that you would get in a similar abbreee antenna.

Good fit on Baofeng UV-5R
It fit very well on a Baofeng UV-5R. I have done some short distance testing and transmissions were clear.

Got in to a 440 repeater over 20 miles away that I couldn't with the stock antenna running 3 watts!

This antenna looks cool tactical. And also functions great. I get a better signal then the original.
