These biscuits are really good. I like that they are not too sweet.

Good biscuits but they sometimes arrive a tad dried out. Better packaging should be considered by the seller. They originate in the U.K.

Was searching for a similar raisin cookies I remember from the 80s, these are not quite as good as those but Garibaldi are definitely still a decent and close replacement. In comparison these are 1) more cookie less filling, 2) more dry on par with a British biscuit, 3) cookie kinda bland but not in a bad way because I love a not overly sweet or sugary cookie. Basically this is as sweet as a raisin is with a slightly sweet cookie crunch. It tastes like a raisin not a true currant which are typically more tart, and they are really just sprinkled within the cookie not a filling layer, perfect amount. A bit pricey for the small package it is, bought the 2pk to try but the 12pk is definitely the best value that I'll buy in the future. I don't usually have this habit but because they aren't overly sweet it is definitely easy to eat the whole package in a sitting, only 10 small rectangles (slightly wider/thicker than a club cracker) in the 100g package (the stats are listed per cookie on front so that's x10!)

I remember Garibaldi biscuits from long ago, but I hadn't had them decades. However, what arrived was drier than I expected. The taste was just OK but they packed the biscuits in a plastic bag for shipping. There were three packages of biscuits together and they weren't shipped in a rigid box. As a result, they came through somewhat crushed. The currant filling held them together but they definitely suffered in the shipping.

I'm an avid watcher of Call The Midwife and they are always offering a Garibaldi with tea, as though it's something extravagant. I decided I had to try one. I have to admit, a lot of the reviews for these weren't positive, but American cookies are different from British biscuits, so I blamed it on that and bought a package. I did not make a bad decision! These are the most delightful biscuits! They are only slightly sweet and taste like real food, unlike every single cookie on the U.S. market (which all taste like the same cheap ingredients no matter the variety or brand). I literally sat and ate the entire package in one night. My daughter helped. I can understand why they serve these with tea; the flavors would pair perfectly. You wouldn't want to eat a Garibaldi after eating or drinking something very sweet (like every cookie in the U.S.) because that would ruin your palette for the lightly sweet flavor of this biscuit. You'd never even notice the flavor of the currants sandwiched in the middle. Just wonderful. I had to re-order and will continue to do so! They were not crumbled (good solid packaging), they were not stale (it's a biscuit not a cookie) and they are very, very munchable. Buy them!
