Vogue Cuisine Beef (Vegetarian Beef) Soup & Seasoning Base 4oz - Low Sodium, Gluten Free, All Natural Ingredients

A friend told me about this product. She is very health-conscious when it comes to food for her kids. One of her kids has allergy, so she has also been looking for good gluten free food products. She first found this line of soup base in a high-end food store in the East Coast and tried it out. Her whole family loved (and still loves) it. She sent me one as gift a few months ago and we tried it out and my kids love it too. We used to boil meat and vegetable or 2-3 hours and used the soup to cook food for the kids. This was very time and energy consuming. We tried other soup bases in the past but the kids complained about being very thirsty after drinking those. This one is great. It saves us a lot of work and the kids still get healthy delicious soup! I recently found it on Amazon & bought 5 different flavors. The order arrived within 2 days with my Amazon Prime membership and we now can enjoy the different flavors.

I used this to make French onion soup for my vegan girlfriend. As an avid carnivore, I was pretty skeptical at first, but once it was dissolved in the water it smelled surprisingly good. I would definitely be able to tell the difference between this and beef stock in a blind taste test, but I was happy with it just the same. Very tasty!

Best beef base for gravy. It is lower in sodium but still makes a great tasting beef stock. Just add water and heat it up. If you are looking to get away from the brands in the box that seem to be about 80% sodium this is one of your best alternatives. If you have reduced your beef intake this little container will last you for years. Also try the chicken veggie stock by the same company. You will never need to worry about having to wip up a gravy in a hurry when you have these Vogue products in your pantry.

I'm not Vegan, just limiting meat products. Sorry this one just tastes muddy to us. I wanted so badly to like it!

This product is good, but not great. I don't really expect to repurchase. The flavor is o.k but it seemed like I had to use alot of it to get the flavor I was looking for. In a pinch I would use it again, but only because it is gluten free. I think some other gluten free brands work better for me.

These soup bases are just fabulous. I add a couple of spoons to simmering quinoa, or some of my slow cooker recipes, as well as soup. They make a very nice cup of broth if some one is sick.

I use this in a beef style marinade for portobello mushroom fajitas. Turns out great every time! I'm glad to finally have found broth flavorings in granule form, the cubes are such a pain to me. I also bought the chicken and veggie. All have tasted great.

Wow, I expected some compromises from going to this from regular bouillon, but this stuff seems wayyyy starchy. I have food issues, so I like a nice, simple snack of rice noodles, a little bit of flavorful oils, some spices and flavoring. With bouillon, that works nicely. With this stuff, it turns into a paste, which also has a diluting effect vs. standard bouillon. Not even willing to try it in a sauce at this point. One star for being what it promised, plus another for not tasting awful.
