brilliant
I was drawn to Jin Shin through study of the Mayan Tzolkin, the Universal Matrix of Creation. In the Tzolkin you have 26 Portals on both sides that form its central structure just as in Jin Shin, but in Jin Shin the Tzolkin is replaced by the body. The first book I read, because it was the latest book that appeared on the market, was The art of Jin Shin. Although that book gives you an idea of the depth of Jin Shin and teaches you holds and flows with these points, it is not enough to get a deeper understanding of the 26 points and their relationship with our inner being and consciousness. That understanding you will get by working with this book. Don't look further, this is the book to have on Jin Shin.

The best
This is one of the best books on Jin Shin Jyutsu on the market today. It does not cover everything on Jin Shin, which would be difficult to do in one book, but what it does cover it does a good job on. It does not go into the depths but does cover the points and the organ flows. The author does not hold back on giving the complete organ flows as many Jin Shin books do. It also lightly goes over the use of finger holds and trinity flows.Another wonderful addition to the book is 100 pages on different illnesses and how to approach them using Jin Shin. This is something which is lacking even in the official Jin Shin text books.Even though Jin Shin is considered a healing art, it is highly controlled by a corporation in the USA and Canada. What is refreshing about this book is that the author is from Germany and is out of reach of this corporate control. But in order for her to print her book in English and be distributed in the USA and Canada she had to change the name of the book from Jin Shin Jyutsu to Jin Shin Fee. But it is the same art. Many people are starting to print their own books on Jin Shin Jyutsu these days because they studied under Mary but not her son, who is currently running the corporation now that she has passed on. Healers involved in the art want to share their knowledge even though its teachings are being suppressed for corporate profit reasons. So they write books sharing some of the art. The main thing they can not do is keep Jyutsu in with the name Jin Shin Jyutsu. So one can find books which have Jin Shin in the title but which omit the Jyutsu and replace it with another word so they will not get sued. Be that as it may, most these books are true to the art which Mary brought to the states and are well worth investigation.Jin Shin is a great healing art and warrants looking into. The corporate part of the art is not as important because it's bottom line is profits. It is high time that the secretiveness and cultishness of Jin Shin Jyutsu corporation be sidestepped so the art can flourish. This is one great book and step in that direction of sharing this art uncensored.

The BEST, the EASIEST, and VERY COMPLETE!,
I have used "The Touch of Healing" for over a decade now, both on myself and on others, but "Jin Shin Fee" is has a good index and is a much improved manual for Jin Shin Jyutsu work (Uh-oh...I used the copyrighted word....shhhhh!!!).While the work which Mary Burmeister brought to the United States rolls on after her passing on, it seems that the business side, complete with lawyers and "thou shalt not's" has, sadly, overtaken her life's work which is now administrated by her son, David Burmeister. There is a point where copyright issues leave off and the sad results of fear or greed take up.Fortunately. his grasp has not extended to Europe, so this book was able to be legally published--and can be distributed here.I highly recommend taking advantage of the wonderful offer to purchase the copy which will work with a Kindle, Galaxy Tab 3, or other such devices, if you have one. I have this on my Kindle, and love being able to roll over in bed and quickly get to the very page I need. It is also easier to pop the Tab3 into my purse when I am out and about, and have the entire book as a reference when assisting another person. If I could, I'd give this book 100 stars because it has taken what you will need to know, dumped what you will not need to know (or even want to bother reading) and has put the info in order with an complete index (which the Kindle and Tab3 have working links within).p.s. "The Touch of Healing" has a minimal and therefore nearly useless index at the back. I took three days to read every word in the book, and make my own index for it. You will never have to go through that with this book!p.s.s. Consider picking up the Jin Shin book for treating all manner of animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats, guinea pigs, etc.)--"Jion Shin Jyutsu for Your Animal Companion" by Adele Leas. Excellent, clear charts and information. It's another which is so clear, so easy to follow, gets the job done, and is so well organized that it deserves 100 stars!

Get this book!
I have taken one 5-day Jin Shin Jyutsu class. I have bought almost all the books published on the topic available. If I were to have only one book on the topic, this would be it. This will be the book I give to people who I want to share this healing art with. It gives all the organ flows and the energy locks, as well as suggestions for specific ailments. It also provides some of the poetic descriptions that simplify the expression of each energy lock. It is also extremely SIMPLE- more so than "Healing Touch", which is a great book, but a lot to get through for the beginner(But I say again, is also an excellent and thoughtful book). This "Jin Shin Fee" lays it all out clearly and simply, and also provides the organ flows, which that book does not. The author only changed the name for some copyright issue- it is about Jin Shin Jyutsu. If you are someone, or you want to share this with someone, who is not into reading about Jin Shin Jyutsu, but just wants to try it and apply it, definitely get this one. You can just open the book and start using your hands in about 2 minutes.

A very useful book to experiment with Jin Shin Jyutsu
This book focuses on the practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu. No nice photos or a beautifuly done graphic design, but a lot of practical and useful information.I bought this book to get all the steps of the organ flows (not only the first step as in other books) and I'm glad I did. I also got a lot more information on each safety energy locks. The only raison I gave 4 stars, is because of the illustrations showing flows. They could be easier to read. However, since I have another book to refer to, it's not such a big deal for me.

very handy guide to Jin Shin
Jin Shin was developed by, Jiro Murai, a Japanese man who discovered it in the early 1900's while looking for ways to heal himself of leukemia. It was later taken to the USA in the 1950's by Mary Burmeister, an American born lady of Japanese origins who studied with him in Japan. Jiro Murai is said to have rediscovered Shin Jin as it was an ancient Art which had fallen into relative obscurity. It is based on the same energy flows as acupuncture and acupressure. But Jin Shin works using the hands as "jumper cables" to connect up various points in the body. The hands are simply placed on the relevant parts and no pressure or tapping is used.I have bought all the books I can get my hands on (pardon the pun) about Jin Shin. What I really like about this book is that it offers a guide to treating specific ailments as well as acting as a general intro. I have not come across any other book about Jin Shin which goes into treating so many specific ailments so clearly. What I like about Jin Shin is that I can feel it start to work almost right away. I also like it that it is easy to apply it to myself, or I can use it on others. It is simply a matter of learning various points on the body and linking those up through our hands to balance and harmonize the energy flow and create healing. Some of the Jin Shin healing treatments are very unobtrusive. It is even possible to apply some Jin Shin healing treatments to oneself while casually sitting in a cafe or whatever - without drawing attention to oneself. You will see Jin Shin under different names if you search around. The author Felicitas Waldeck, calls it Jin Shin Fee. Others refer to it as Jin Shin Jyutsu or Jin Shin Tara. These are all basically the same thing. Jin Shin Jyutsu was the original version and the other versions derived from it.However, you may also come across Jin Shin Do - which is something different. It also derived from Jin Shin Jyutsu, but it is an acupressure or a therapeutic massage technique. The system in this book does not use pressure at all. Jin Shin Jyutsu/Fee/Tara is a system where hands or fingers on simply placed on particular places on the body. If confused in looking at other books, just see if the book is about acupressure or therapeutic massage. If so it is not the same system.I recommend this book to anyone wanting to know how to use Jin Shin to treat specific ailments and who is happy to pick up a book on something and just give it a go.---William Fergus Martin, Author Forgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to Forgive Kindle Version Forgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to ForgiveForgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to ForgiveForgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to Forgive

and the good changes begin
This book is a clear, simple and easy- to- use manual, a literal "handbook" for the prompt relief of distress or discomfort. If anything is bothering you, the list of ailments at the front or the index at the back will enable quick and effective treatment.Because the hand positions and finger holds treat the flow of Energy (not blood or lymph), no pressure or "effort" is required. After a few minutes of holding and "noticing" your breath, you will relax naturally, and the good changes begin. This book is not superficial, though. For those with time and desire to learn, the pathways of energy through the body are clearly mapped with careful drawings, and the effect on each pathway of the sun's daily movements is also shown.I first read Mary Burmeister's book, "A Touch of Healing", which was a great introduction to Jin Shin Jyutsu (Fee) and began to use the techniques and benefit from Mary's wisdom; but it was not until I began reading and using Felicitas's book that I became confident in my understanding and use of the techniques. At five o'clock this morning I woke with a very painful sore throat, took vitamin C and placed one hand on my shoulder and the other on my buttock. I counted 9 breaths and the soreness lessened, after another 9, I switched sides and repeated the breaths. Sore throat GONE !Using the Main Central Flow holds on my friend while he dozed beside me helped him to get up smiling and happy instead of groaning .Any therapy that is free, effortless and can be done lying down or relaxing in a chair is great for lazy folk like me.I am so grateful for all the information brought forward here. I would recommend it to anyone who can open their mind to the understanding that our 'energy - body' is easier to treat than our ' flesh and bone body' and can affect it profoundly and swiftly.
