Bought the 1st one for our little dog for camping trips. It is new to her and she was barking at everyone and every noise. The beep and vibration is all that was needed to quieten her down. She yiped a couple times and then would only whine or growl really quietly. The shock collars are good for training but I hate to "hurt" any animal. This worked so well we bought a 2nd one for my daughter's little dog who will be camping with us often. The light is a great extra!! It helps to alert others that we have our dog with us at night. Other campers saw hers this weekend and were so impressed they wanted them for their pups. I Highly recommend it!!!

This did nothing to deter our miniature dachshund from barking. The sound was not a tone that deterred her. The battery died after a few weeks of use. I am returning.

Against my better judgment, I bought this for my 10 lb Yorkie who likes to bark really annoyingly at times. I really wanted a shock collar to make him stop but I thought I be more humane and buy this one. What a waste of money. This does does beep however it does not him from barking. I knew I should have bought the shock collar.So if your dog will get scared of a beep this collar is for you. If not and you need something more, this is not the collar for you.

With so many shock or vibrate collars to choose from it was difficult to settle on one especially since my Chaweenie is only 6 lbs on a good day.Ever since we got him 2 years ago he would go ballistic barking at any animal he saw on TV and some even ladies with big hair maybe he mistook. LolWe put this collar on him, turned on the Animal Planet to watch the fireworks. On his 2nd bark the collar made the noise without vibrating him and that was enough to make him stop and wonder what just happened and he sat quietly for a while watching the animals on TV with us. What a huge change! We couldn’t even have a dog on tv on a commercial without him going off.O er the next few days He has barked with it on a couple times after that and he stops when he hears the noise. I think it has only wi rated him once.I am so glad I got this and not the shock collar, that would be overkill for my dog most likelyAlso walking him through the neighborhood is fun again. He doesn’t bark much at dogs and when he does the sound fixes him right up and off we go. Walking him was getting to be a real pain until this collar.

I have three small dogs that bark at everything. I didn’t want a static or shock collar, so I went with this collar. I tried this on all three of them. I wish it had a setting for vibration only, because the beeping sound it makes before vibrating does nothing and is quite annoying. They just barked right through it. Also, it was too big and bulky for my chihuahua and 10lb dachshund. Sadly, it had to go back.

I can't believe this works for my chipoo and my daughter's pomeranian. Both total yappers. One beep and they completely stop. It doesn't look comfortable but they don't seem to mind it. They don't have to wear it very tight either. They can growl without a beep. This works better than a more expensive one I got for my other dog. It's louder. That may be why. Or perhaps their barks are louder too ha

Have a little 10 pound shelter dog. Loves to bark and act really tough. I put the collar on for the first time before a friend came over, she started barking when the door opened, next thing the collar was buzzing and Stella stopped barking. I took the collar off and she started up immediately, put the collar back on she barked a couple of times and the buzzer went off and the barking ended. This collar works GREAT! Quality is very good, get one and have some quit time!

I tried this collar on my 6lb maltipoo and 8lb schnoodle. It did not always catch their barking even after I trimmed their neck hair. Also, it was a bit bulky to have on my dogs since they are quite small. Initially the vibration stopped the barking as it scared them but they got used to it and it no longer worked for them. I can see how this would work on pets long term, just didn't work on mine.
