Woven bamboo material and construction excellent quality. Exceeded expectations. Did not realize the challenge in balancing this style hat on head. There is no typical headband to hold it in place, but comes with a plastic headnet attached, which I found not comfortable. Took that out but then could not balance hat.There is also the cultural appropriation consideration for this style, so I would only wear it in my own yard to avoid conflict with public.

I loved that it covers your face from the sun ( it wide enough to do that). If the plastic yellow thing inside isn’t broken when it arrives, wearing this is really comfortable; if it’s broken it’s unwearable because it hurts your head. I got 2, and both arrived fine, but one had the plastic thing that keeps the bamboo hat in place broken, which sucks! But I loved it. One thing that I was annoyed by is that any strong wind blows it off it’s place from my head (luckily there’s the string that ties it around my jaw that won’t allow me to lose it). I would recommend, only if you don’t mind the small inconveniences.

Great hats for the price. I really enjoy the amount of shade provided. I would definitely buy again but from the quality of these hats I really don't think they will wear out for years to come. I use mine regularly in the HOT Louisiana sun several times a week. The plastic band that goes on your head started a little tight at first but quickly adjusted to my big head and is now very comfortable.

Bought this for sun protection at work. And have figured out it will not hold up to the day to day use I needed it for. Just to much play in the way it fits on your head. So it is always falling off. Or Wind blows it off. I gave 1 to my mom for working in the garden and it will work good for that. Will keep the other for myself for mowing and outside stuff at the house. So not a total loss.

Really well-made. There is some sharp plastic that is uncomfortable however.

Got these as a gift for a friend from Vietnam for yard work. Hers had worn out. She loves them!!!

The plastic frame isn't comfortable for and extended time even with a bandana layer underneath.The construction is good though, has held up well so far.

I painted them inside and out so they could match with out costumes. They made a trip from the USA to Rome to Amsterdam. We did carry them by hand but it was worth it since they really made our outfits.
