These jars are lovely. However, I ordered them to use for fermentation. The dimensions of my equipment (e.g., glass weights) assumes jar dimensions of some of the more popular brands. Although the lids fit just fine, these were slightly more narrow in the body, and made fermentation difficult. I realize this is a VERY specific problem, but for anyone planning on using them for fermentation, I think it's important.

Bought this for fermenting. Needed wide mouth mason jars - This is not a standard wide mouth side & I'm not paying ~$12.00 for a refund.

First use was filled, cooled to room temp then reheated at 'reheat' temp in microwave. The entire top 'collar' of the jar split off - I wish I could have taken a picture. Another jar had a crack up the entire side coming out of the box. I haven't inspected them all, have just used other jars that I can rely on. Not really willing to see how they do in the freezer at this point. Also, came with an opaque residue inside all of the jars. Would not use for canning given experiences under less heat stressful conditions.

I got these for cups and I love them. They work great and if I ever wanted to use them for canning I can. They were well packaged and none were broken. I would love to buy more!

Returned these as they had a very cloudy appearance that would not wash away and the jars would not take a ring from another company ( you know the universable rings everyone has) the cover that came with these are flimsy and do not seal well.

The sound of so much glass rattling around in box that I didn't even open. Not sure if any were in tact, but honestly was surprised they wanted it returned. Will try again.
