For The Price & Volume They Can't Be Beat ...errr, Shaken!If you are on a budget or just don't care if the drummer has been checking out your girlfriend, then what you need is a good pair of cheap plastic maracas to cut through the loud stage noise.You had her first, so why spend all that money on an expensive pair of low volume high quality maracas from a reputable overpriced manufacturer when all you want to do is make sure you can divert some attention away during his drum solos?If some drunk doesn't crush them underfoot when onstage uninvited, then you will be sure to leave them behind at the last gig, where in turn another local band steals them from you along with the mic stand you also forgot to pack.The last pair survived over three years of serious abuse. I am buying these for our singer who broke my pair using them as a gong mallet and keeps telling me, "Go ahead and order them...I'll pay you back". So this is his Christmas present.Thick plastic and loud enough for ten bucks...which is probably too much to spend on a singer.\m/ !ô¿ô! \m/Hope this helps.

You won't see these in symphony hall or in the hands of any headline performer, but if you have a kindergarten band or very casual group wanting to play for fun, these are your maracas. (so to speak)

Built OK but sound very plasticky to me. To high pitched. Could use more inside

These maracas were chosen for their look and ease of play. I love the color and the sound it makes. I used others in the past and these have a great quality.
