Runs Small, Couldn't Wear It
The hat itself looks just like the picture and I really wanted to wear it especially for my independence day party but the thing is just too small. I've been wearing a 7 1/2 hat for years and this hat is just too small for me to wear without considerable discomfort.Unlike most items sold by or through Amazon, this company doesn't pay for shipping for returns and my return is subject to a restocking fee. Shame on me for assuming that this product would be just as easy to return as everything else on Amazon. I will not be doing any business with the Florida Hat Company again. Stand by your product and do the right thing and don't charge for returns.

I am a woman and took a chance ordering the "Men's" hat, as this seller had the best price, along w/quick shipping (which I wanted it right away). The hat fits perfect! Awesome hat, runs a little small.
This is an absolutely awesome hat, I mean look at the thing, it screams MURICA!It does run a bit small, I have a big head 7 3/4 I believe is my normal hat size and this was too small at first. I wore it around for a while and it did stretch out after several hours. I used this as part of a Halloween costume but I will keep wearing it because it is awesome. I wouldn't expect this hat to last forever, but it isn't expensive so you can't expect it to last forever

Goes great with a pair of aviators and a beard
Great hat. Fit as expected. Looks every bit as good in person as it does in the pictures. It's a little small for my melon head but close enough. For reference, I just put a tape measure on my head and it's 23.5 inches exactly and I wish this hat were a touch bigger (like a quarter of an inch) but I suspect it will stretch a bit. If not I can still make it work.I want to knock off half a star for being made in China but I knew that before I bought it. Tip for the company that sold it... find a way to make this exact same hat in America for God's sake. If I saw it in a store I'd gladly pay double if it had a tag that said it was made in America.Bought it for the 4th of July but I suspect I'll wear it any time I'm in a patriotic mood.

Awesome Look and Fit
I Love this Hat! My head maybe 21-1/2” ... great fit.. not too tight or loose so fits a range of sizes. Very STIFF material but I can adjust brim somewhat. Perfectly boxed and quick delivery. Does not have straps to tie at chin. Highly Recommend!

Way Small, But Well Made
I like this hat a lot, but it is WAY too small for my size 7-1/2 head. The manufacturer gives a maximum head size of 24", so pay attention to what they say! Too bad it's so small because this is a really nice hat.I removed the interior hat band and it will more or less stay on my head, but since I bought this for a costume and not everyday wear it will work OK for my purposes.

Well worth the money !
Although this hat was a little tight I couldn't have been happier with the appearance. I do suspect when worn a few times it will give a little. The picture doesn't do it justice, I received so many compliments on it & was even asked where I purchased it. It definitely was the subject of the event I went to. Very pleased with my purchase & would definitely recommend it to anyone. I paid a little more to have it expedited because I needed it on short notice, well worth it ! I ordered it on a Tuesday & received it on Friday, awesome !! I would definitely purchase it again .

Very nice hat (but packaging could have been better!)
Got lots of looks and compliments on this hat! Love that it fits my head perfectly (but allows for expansion if you have a larger head). You can also mold/bend it to whichever style suits you! Packaging could have been a little bit better though!
