Ordered 3 for our concessions stand. The first one did not come with the lid as specified & was also dented on the base and sides,so we returned it. Everything else came packed in mini crates, packed well. Directions were slim as far as specific glass assembly, recommended cooking temperatures & cleaning instructions, so I used photos & reviews to figure it out. Warmers are used weekly and are an excellent addition! Also, had great customer service as far as response time and personal emails inquiring what would be more helpful in instructions.

This gave the perfect grilled hot dog flavor I was looking for like I get on the backwoods gas station doggies that are just so gloriously cheap and delicious! It was actually really easy to put together since it didn't come in many parts and it was as easy to use as plug it in and pop those babies on and let them do their own thing. It was nice that there was two separate temperature zones too so that the weirdos in the house that like theirs crispy and almost dead can have it done their way, and my perfectly cooked skins with a crunch can be different than theirs. Meets everyone's needs for sure.It's all easy to clean too. The drip tray is removable and catches just about everything. The rollers and glass hood all cleaned up easy too. There wasn't a lot of parts and pieces to have to mess around with the make it work or keep it cleaned up, a thing I appreciated when using it for our youngest twos birthday party. My hubby was all confused why I wanted one of these instead of just doing traditional grilling, but I found this makes perfectly evenly cooked hot dogs that don't have charcoal taste either when my old man has a few and forgets what he's cooking lmao.

This item is nearly identical to the Olde Midway Pro 18 I used every day for the past 3 years, grilling hot dogs in my sandwich shop. It started making grunting sounds and stopped turning. The motor seized up and I had to replace it. This appears to be a less expensive generic version, no labels or product name tags. The knobs are in Celcius. I cook on the rear rollers at about 150 C, which is 300 F, then move to the front rollers on a low temperature to keep warm. It will fit 18 of 6 inch hot dogs.Maintenance tip: turn to low temp and clean rollers as they turn. Silicone rings at the end of rollers can be moved inward to better clean the edges. You can use cooking oil to lubricate there. The left bottom panel can be removed to expose the sprockets and chain. The chain can be lubed with chain oil.

I can't say how it would hold up in a commercial setting but for us and how we use it, it's wonderful.If you have birthday parties, as we do, this will be great during colder weather, this gives you a way to cook a lot of hot dogs (or taquitos, or just about anything else that will roll) that are hot and tasty, and the kids LOVE watching it work.Works quite well, easy to clean. Makes getting hot dogs, sausages ready for a party a snap. Consistently cooks evenly with convenience of being able to control side to side temperatures.You do have to keep an eye on it. It does get hot. It has been worth every penny. No more soggy gray hot dogs! Recommended

Initially only received the glass shield and not the actual roller, however the parts were quickly replaced. Both shields that I received during this process had some broken areas and glass shards were in the packaging. The shields were still usable though and the person I gifted it to says it works like a dream.

For years we used one at a youth center. Hundreds of hotdogs over the years. And we also used this for outdoor events as well as small family & friends Superbowl party. 18 hotdogs grilled at time no worries it wont overdo them or burn them. And you can adjust heat as well. Must buy if you like those hotdogs. Hope this HELP you,,,thanks!

The picture clearly shows the hot dog roller includes the sneeze shield. It does not. There were other rollers that were cheaper, but I choose this one because it included the shield. Well it doesn't. Attempts to get this corrected have failed. I give up. Scrolling back through the feedback I see this is a common problem. Looks like false advertising to me.As far as the hot dog roller, it does work, however the temperature control is in Celsius. It seems to either be too hot or too cold. Cleaning the rollers is a bit of a job.

Only received the roller part, never received the cover that was supposed to come with it.

...Showed up missing the clear shield. No mention of a 2nd package. Clearly advertised!
