Good build, nice size, Novatek chipset, which I have read so many myths about, yields footage as Amrabella chipsets. Second attempt to have an acceptable undistorted image, but can't say I've succeeded.tremendous fisheye for sub 120deg field of vision, as well as aliasing distortions, color variegation even on a simple single material flat plane. The best distinguishing attribute, ir lamps barely perceptible pink, yet achieve same result as bright red arrays of double the number of LEDs in array.Major weakness in all body cams so far tried: claimed image stablization seems to be a false claim; noise cancelation also a joke. Optimal mounting and the slightest movement causes epileptic footage and overwhelming noise from body movement.At this point, I'm convinced only a higher end vievu/safariland/axon pro military or police cams are worth buying,$900 or so for such a unit. The limitation of prograde is the proprietary software licenses that are essentially needed to extract video.

Hello folks, I am a repeat buyer, yes, and not because someone dared me, but because I really thought this camera was great!I takes very high quality video and lasts a long battery time for the price!I originally purchased the 128G version, but I dropped it in water, my mistake, no fault of the company itself, and I caused it to fail.So needing another camera, I came right back here to buy a new one!I dont have as much money as before , so I bought the 64G version this time, but still, MEKNIC cameras work quite well, the instructions are understandable, the product works better for picture quality than I expected, and I would highly recommend this camera!

Woman I for ordered this camera for & her friends could not figured out how to operate thecsetting, functions. Manual/User guide is very poorly written, tiny print on cheap paper. Returned camera for another brand& model.

Only reason im giving this bodycam a 1 star review is because there is so much dust in between the actual lens and the plastic. It is internal and therefore shows up as black spots when reviewing video footage.. poor quality control on whoever makes this.

I want to be very fair with my rating so please read the entire short review and draw your own conclusion which may very well be different.First of all, I read through virtually all body cams on offer here at Amazon. This one has the biggest battery, 3100 mAh, which is very desirable to me. I also got it for a cheaper price than comparable models with 64 GB, although the price has currently increased. The cam also supports up to 128 GB micro sd card, not all do yet.What causes me to return it has to do with the sheer video and sound quality. First of all, the up to 40 MP picture setting is nothing but a lot of interpolation of 2-3 MP image resulting in a 9 MB file size that shows nothing more. The 170 degree lens shows a very curvy picture. This would be corrected in a good inexpensive action cam like the Mi Mijia which also has far better picture quality at similar resolution settings and could go all the way to 4k. The sound quality is what really fails this camera. It's distorted and rings, sounding muffled yet strident. I could forgive other things but I need good clear sound. Unfortunately, I read reviews of other body cams on Amazon and this may be a common problem.Because I need clear picture and video as well as good sound, I've decided on adapting action cams such as the Mi Mijia, the Yi 4K Plus action cam, etc. Running these at lower resolution than 4K still produces superior video, sound and stills. But of course, they will not provide specific body cams security functions nor laser pointer, night light, etc. Speaking of battery, interchangeable would be a better feature so you would never run out of juice just when you really need it. The battery of this cam is not conveniently changeable so you could not have spare.Last but not least, the large glass of the lens cover in the front is flush with the body. This is very poor design because if you set it down, drop it, or it slides across the table or floor, the glass window can scratch. A good design would have the glass surface recessed or otherwise surrounded by protective raised plastic so the glass surface won't touch.I hope that in a little bit somebody will come out with a 4K body cam with GoPro 7-like image stabilization and clear sound. You may not run it at 4K because of the file size but you will benefit from superior image quality and stabilization even when set to lower resolutions. Excellent stabilization is a very desirable feature as watching jerky video is nauseating. Along with good sound, they are the pillars of quality capture that you would actually want to make and partake.

Turn on and says insert SD card. This item does not use ab SD card, memory is built in. Useless without memory.
