This is by far the best book I have read on trading. I have purchased about a dozen different books ranging in price. This is the most in depth book on trading. This book includes the contents of the 11 other books I have purchased plus some. If you are a beginner and want to know how to trade stocks this is the book for you. Many books on amazon get great reviews and then I read the book and I am extremely disappointed. This book is not that book. BUY IT

If you want to know about the market behaviour or you want to know how to make a good investment decision based on charts, this is the book for you. Combine it with Marketsmith and you are set. Imagine I picked up Futu at $49 and it went all the way upto $189. Also stocks like Fiverr international, Inmode, Yeti. They aren't big names like MSFT and Appl but they have the tail wind. Learn and earn that is the mantra.

The study guide is invaluable but you have to be prepared that the charts are jpgs from the 90s and ~1% of the answer sheet is wrong. I'm going to assume the errors were introduced during OCR of the paperback. Nothing you can't work around if you truly understood the study material.

This was such a great book. It explains everything very well and it is also very comprehensive. I liked it a lot.

In my career I used the JJ MURPHY book extensively and it was falling apart. When a friend wanted to know more about charting I had to get a "fresh" copy. Great, I even read some stuff I forgot.

I understood that this was a study guide when I bought it and that's what I wanted. However, the questions are not worded well and the language used makes things confusing. For example: The dow theory is listed as "market action discounts everything" in the answer guide. That is the tenant of technical analysis which by definition is based on down theory. So it is correct, but in the book the section is called "the averages discount everything". In chapter 3 test, you are given a table of opening,closing, highs,lows. Etc of oil commodity pricing for 3 consecutive months. Then asked to find the previous days numbers. If questioned about the previous month's closing price it could be done because a profit margin amount was given. Can't change between two time frames like that. Small things like that make the tests very difficult.

Lo dicho en el título, esto no es el libro y me consta que muchos lo han comprado pensando que lo era, el libro cuesta bastante más, pero si tienes el libro pienso que también has de adquirir esta guía.

This is, as described and clearly shown, a study guide. It performs its role perfectly well. To those who cannot tell it is anything other than a study guide, perhaps Technical Analysis isn't your calling.
