The overall construction feels incredibly sturdy, giving me confidence that they can handle a variety of cooking tasks without any issues. One of the standout features is the silicone grip, which provides a comfortable and secure hold.Another thoughtful detail is the silicone tips. As a family, we’ve become increasingly conscious of the potential risks of microplastics in our food, so having silicone tips is a big plus for us. The best part is that the silicone tips are securely attached to the metal frame, unlike some other tongs I’ve owned where the tips have a tendency to slide or even fall off after repeated use. This added durability is definitely something I appreciate.When it comes to functionality, the silicone tips are solid but with just enough flexibility at the very tip to make picking up thin or delicate food items easy. The minimal flexibility in the tips ensures that I have control over whatever I’m picking up, without worrying about the tongs bending or losing grip.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. Just got these and I am impressed with the size and sturdiness of the products. I will write more later if I have any problems, but I do not think their will be any. All products will have normal wear and tear, but if they fall apart or start to rust after first cleaning, then I will be unhappy. I do not believe that will happen. They are a bit pricy, so hopefully they will last a long time. They are well made though and I am happy with the size of the tall one, a good length for turning items in an air fryer. Second one is a good bit smaller, but still quite sturdy and comfortable to use. To keep them closed and easily storable, pull the top, circular piece out, or hang these on a hanger in your kitchen. Great products!

Have used these regularly for about 2 years, the silicon at both ends is great for protecting nonstick pans in the sink. Tongs are grippy, and have only sustained some damage when I left them in a hot cast iron pan. They still work fine, just a bit misshapen on that one end. The silicon is still tight and not slipping off. They stay "closed" when you want them to. Recommended.

The silicone ends are about as thick as you'd want them to be and their grip is good as there's no flex to the tips. Picking up individual pieces of food like broccoli or muffins is easy. And (using the medium-sized tongs) I was able to flip a decent sized steak without any issue. The locking/unlocking ring works just as it should. As for construction, it looks like the silicone tips are 'inserted' into the handles. I've included a close-up pic of where they connect. With a lot of use, the silicone tip could eventually bend off or fall out. Only time will tell. But overall, the quality of these are better than average, especially considering their low price.The sides of the tongs have color-matched silicone grips. It's helpful when holding/using them. On the smaller-sized ones, the there's less than an 1" of stainless steel exposed on the sides. But on the larger tong, there's over 3" of stainless steel exposed (pictured). Additionally, the silicone doesn't wrap around the frame of the tongs so, you still have to be careful when using these with ceramic cookware. You won't want to be resting them on the sides of your pans.So far they seem to be handling heat well. Since they're never sitting in or on the pan for any length time when I'm cooking, they should last a while. I haven't run them through the dishwasher. I usually hand wash most things only because it takes me a while to fill the dishwasher for use. I'll revisit this review as I use them more. For the price though, the quality of these was better than expected.
