Cooling 3 Fan Cooler for Microsoft Fat Xbox 360 by A1store

This cooling tower for the Xbox360 works great! It keeps the computer cool while playing games or watching movies.

My Xbox 360 would overheat fairly regularly so I purchased this device, it worked fine reducing the frequency of overheating until yesterday, my son was playing an older 360 game and the Xbox overheated with three red rings. Unplugged the power adapter as we usually do and allowed it to cool down. Plugged it back and started play again a few minutes later it overheated again but this time I was not able to unplug the adapter from the cooler. Where the adapter plugged into the cooler and where the cooler plugged into the Xbox both parts were stuck as if fused together. Xbox no longer powers on. When we finally got things separated, literally taking the cooler apart, that is exactly what happened the heat must have caused this piece of crap to melt and now I'm waiting on a new AC adapter, hoping that it is the only problem and not my Xbox 360 being fried. So be careful with this device.

The Fans throw air the wrong way suppose it is to taking out the heat useless,you unscrew the 3fans turn them around and your Xbox 360 will have some Nice Air Cooling to the motherboard CPU n GPU ,nice hardware but its has wrong way engineering,this piece is good for inventing your own cooling system otherwise it wont cool your xbox,i took one fan out put it inside the xbox disconect one of the other fans and coonect it to a PCDesktop powersupply fan put it inside xbox so it wouldnt get hot at all,and so on you can create your own cooling system however you want,the fans throw some nice air but they have to be inside the xbox if not is just doing much noise is a really nice item to create your own cooling system for the xbox 360

No much improvements, the xbox still heats up and shuts down not much use.

Awesome fan. Plugs into your Xbox and then power cord plugs into it. Don't have to worry if you have a spot to plug it in or not. Not only does it turn on and off with your Xbox but also has a switch to turn it on and off. I highly recommend this to anyone!!!

Not sure how the fan works but it's not specified which model of xbox 360 the fan goes to. Does not hook up with my Xbox so can not state the quality. Luckily it was inexpensive you are basically paying more to send it back. They've requested that I keep the fan and take $2 as a refund. I have no use for it so I lose $10 + dollars for it. Not worth the headache.
