I used every single one of these plants (plus a couple plants that were just lying around) to decorate my ten gallon sorority tank. The plants are soft and won't cut the bettas fins, and haven't so far. They are very pretty and add a nice flare to the tank. Will be buying again to decorate my 5 gallon.

Edit. Changed from 2 stars to 4. We decided to give these a second go after letting them air out over a week, washing with soap and water thoroughly, soaking overnight in water+vinegar, then rinsing over and over until there was no smell. You might get the same result by putting them through the dishwasher (top rack, no heat dry!) Since then, we have had no more dead fish, and the plants still seem to be holding up well about 6 months later with no noticeable fading. Probably was something on them originally causing a strong smell and oily feel that hurt my first fish, but whatever it was seems to finally be gone.Original Post:After putting this in our otherwise healthy tank (we washed thoroughly first due to a strong chemical smell) the next day there was a residue covering all the sides of our tank and a one of our fish was really sick. We changed the water and cleaned the tank thoroughly, the other ones look ok still but the sick one died less than 48 hours after putting in these decorations.

Perfect! Spent $50 on a small bio orb set which was way too big and stiff. I think they damaged my betas fins. These are colorful, flowy, soft and the perfect sizes for my small Bio orb. Great quality for the price! I soaked them in water for a few hours before adding them to the tank.

For $10.55 you’ll get 21 decorations? Yes please! The picture shows a LOT of what you can expect. The rock looking anchor at the bottom of the plants looks like boulders on the mountain in my nano tank. These plants really helped my nano tank look bigger than it is and look and it looks realistic in my opinion. The plants are positioned so they look like bushes that are growing from a mountain with a waterfall and the frogs and fish love to burry themselves in the plants! The plants are plastic but very soft! The plants do not float despite not being weighed down by anything while sitting on the mountain. The plants do not move they just stay put despite the pleco frogs etc foraging through them or sleeping in them. I am getting some shrimp to help control the algae buildup on the plants. This set is only 1 month old so I do not know how easy or difficult it is to clean algae off the plants, but it was easy to clean to install.

These fish plants are so colorful and vibrant. Our gold fish love swimming next to them. When it comes to cleaning them, I remove the bottom piece, soak in warm soapy water and scrub them with the soft sponge. Any residue or anything else on them comes right off. The paint on the plants doesn't come off and hasn't chipped off either. We've had these plants for almost 2 months now and they still look as vibrant and new as the day we got them. I did clean them before putting them in the tank. For the amount you get and the price you pay, they're definitely worth it.

We have a small 5 gallon fish taken for our two sons. We originally had two plants in the tank that costs $15 from a pet store but we soon realized that bettas like areas to hide so we bought more from Amazon. This is definitely a good price. You get so much for what you pay. You have to bury the “rock” part of the plant under the gravel a little bit to keep them in place and they aren’t the best quality if you’re an expert fish person. I wish they gave more taller plants but overall, I’m really happy with the purchase. And the fish are loving all the new plants.
