Left-Hand Scissors Stainless Steel 3-Pack, 8 inch

I wish they were a little bit smaller. I don’t have big hands but don’t want kid size either. These are too loose on my hand and it’s hard to grip them and cut at the same time.

Three of my kids are left-handed so I thought these would be good after ordering the Fiskars ones that were more for preschoolers and kindergarteners. My lefties are 12 (but little so he’s more like 8-10), 14 and 21. They were huge/adult-sized and I even have small hands as a 48 year old. Unbeknownst to me- all three of my lefties say they cut right-handed and not with their left lol. They’re sitting in my junk drawer opened, new and unused.

First off, as a lefty these things feel amazing simply because I can cut paper with my left hand without a struggle. That’s a low bar but it’s a real PITA that the overwhelming majority of scissors are made for righties.That being said, these things are not great for precise cutting. They are a little too thick to cut a clean, straight edge so keep that in mind. Otherwise, they are really nice and feel like they will last a while as long as the plastic holds up.

The leftist know what’s what about scissors but right handlers don’t, so this is for them (and some good info in here for southpaws). What sucks about scissors is not the grips they put on them. Ok those suck but that’s not the problem. The problem is the blades. Scissors need to be assembled so that the grip of the hand forces the blades together to cut. Yes, go get a pair and check it out.Welcome back. Got it now? So, most lefty scissors are right handed blade assembly with only the handle, grip, holes or whatever switched. Which means they are as usable as an axe with both sided being the fat wedge side. Useless and annoying. These are REAL LEFT HANDED scissors.Not only that but my lefty sister, who I got Them for, has had dozens of not-real left scissors and some real left scissors and she said these are by far the best. And she has sever arthritis. So trust me. Buy these by the case and give them to left handed people you know and make a friend for life.

Gave it a good rating so you would read that one stopped cutting after 3 attempts to cut. They seem great at first. Waiting to see how the other two work out.

My daughter is left handed and she has always struggled with cutting things with right handed scissors. The 3 pack was perfect because she has a pair for school, her room and her craft corner.

Very good scissors if you are left handed. Comfortable to use compared to regular scissors. Wish I had gotten them sooner
