Love this servo
Love this servo. It's the BEST for the price ! I burnt and broke several hitechs and have hundreds wrapped up in servos and after purchasing this savox it's the only servo I will buy.it's installed on my custom 2.2 crawler which is notorious for stripping and breaking servos while on large rocks. I ran this servo all summer whith no issues. It has super power and speed and is noisy but small price to pay for such a good product

Excellent service. Quick ship. Excellent product.
Excellent servo. Excellent quality fast response. Does the job perfectly on my new Tekno ET410. So far no issues and if it stands up as I expect it to do to all of the rough running I do I will be back to update my fleet of vehicles to Savox servos. I'm tired of buying the cheap servos that last about four to five uses. Savox are looking good for me goin forward so far.

Awesome Servo!
Great servo. Really have been impressed with this servo. It was really easy to waterproof with some Silicone Conformal Coating, and it is going strong. Really like how fast it is and it has the power needed to move a heavier truck around. Update: I've since started using several of these in my rc's. I do like my Hitec servos, but I love how easy these are to waterproof with silicone conformal coating on the circuit boards. I'm running 3 now and have one for a back up. Well worth having!

I had always used hitec servos for everything. But in the mid-range torque about 160 inch pounds or so, Hi-Tech does not have titanium gears. You will find that metal gear servos in that range 10 to where the gear is out. Not that they stopped working, but that they get sloppy or loose. I found that these servos with the titanium gears after hundreds and hundreds of flights still stay as tight as the day I bought them. So for the mid-range servos I've changed to this brand. these are excellent servos and will do good service for an extremely long time.

**Buyer Beware**
This was my first upgrade from various "inexpensive" and stock traxxas servos. Wow. Just wow. I'm hoping it's durable and will stand up to the bashing it will see this summer. Out of the box, on an all billet aluminum stampede with monster sized Big Joe tires on it, it is strong and fast. I bought this high torque servo along with the matching high speed 1258tg servo. The speed difference is tenths of a second and not noticeable in my application. The torque difference is significant though. I tend to bash and run heavier vehicles, so I think I will stick with savox's high torque servos in the future. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I've purchased less expensive servos that claim higher performance numbers, but only deliver those numbers at on specific point, not along the entire sweep or movement of the servo, and only at higher voltages. I have not read a poor review of Savox servos and I think that speaks alot in and of itself. **Update 05/13/2014** So, time has gone by and I have upgraded all of my RC vehicles to Savox servos. I had one of their tq monsters in my HPI Baja SC for Throttle/Brake duties and it died. I sent it back to savox for repair or replacement. Savox informed me that by waterproofing my servo - greasing the output shaft and plasti-dipping the servo - I had invalidated the warranty. Way to go Savox, love the support. They couldn't explain how grease or plastidip had damaged the servo, just that the modification voided their warranty.

This is the servo, perfect for 1/8 truck/buggy or 4x4, MT 1/10.
I needed a good servo for my 1/8 e-truggy. I've had some bad luck buying budget servos...I mean how much of a deal is a 16$ servo that doesn't last 2 weeks? Anyway, I've found that heavier vehicles can really torture a servo, one good crash can strip the gears completely. With this is mind I set about looking for a reliable servo for my 10lb, big tire'd, truggy. I found this Savox 1256tg had great reviews on all of the rc foums and I found it here at Amazon for 63$ on sale. So I pulled the trigger and had it in 4 days. Installed it right away but I was concerned my esc's bec wouldn't be able to power it without browning out. My esc is a Hobbywing with 6v/3a switching bec. Well it does just fine, no need for external bec luckily. So if you get this servo and your esc has a 6v/3a bec, you should be fine, I was. Also, this servo has no problems at all with speed or torque. It's plenty fast enough for 99% of the rc community and it moves my truggy tires literally with ease. I gave it a 1 (would have been half a star if I could) star reduction because it makes a buzzing noise--not a big deal, they just do. This servo comes with all necessary mounting screws (including the one that goes into the gear to mount servo horn), a few horns, nice stickers, and a nice reusable plastic box. Overall, after reading/watching a lot of reviews and using it for a couple months now, with no issues at all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this servo. Edit/Update 1: --4/30/2014-- This Savox 1256 is still working like new and it has seen many, many runs on my track with nasty crashes and backyard bashing with 0 issues. Best servo I've had! Edit/Update 2: --4/15/2015-- Servo continues to work great and it's been 1 1/2 years. I took it apart recently, the inside looked brand new.
