I keep the keyboard seperate, for travel. It can be ‘attached’ to the flipside smooth surface by magnets . For my use with many airport checks I do not trust the magnets’ abilities, but I may well be wrong? Early days....It does however fit perfectly well and safely in a working from home setting, On one memorable occasion the keyboard , separated and placed to one side, had slipped down the side of a chair, it impressively withstood an accidental and very noisy squashing and still works perfectly!The keyboard is much easier to use for longer typing . It needs a good charge with a seperate plug ( enclosed) before first use that charge should be maintained. The device comes up on Bluetooth in your server and is easily reinstated if not used regularly.The ipad itself is held constantly and securely by the central white plastic circle.The grey case is stylish and smart. Two weeks into use I'm still deciding on the best position for typing direct to the screen as there are a number of options.Four stars because of my ( yet to be proved ) mistrust of the magnets!

I am so glad i got this product. The case alone feels like it is worth all the money. It has a lovely deep black design perfectly suitable for men and women. It feels heavenly to hold and the chrome COO logo is very small and makes it look really fashionable. The case is perfect because it can hold the keyboard and the Ipad together while closed. The keyboard is extraordinary. The colours are gorgeous and holding command brings up a list of keyboard shortcuts you can use. It is designed so that the charging ports of the Ipad and keyboard case are on the same side so you can charge them at the same time which is genius. It makes my Ipad feel like a Macbook and I love it to bits. Only issue that I can see is the small backspace button (common in Asia but uncommon here in the UK). I'm sure with time you will get used to it and end up typing how you do normally. If you are really unsure of buying it, i do suggest you do because I am blown away by all that it can do. Makes my Ipad feel brand new and fresh.

I would have given this 5 stars but there are a couple of point that let it down.1. You have to hold the shift key and press number 3 to get the £ sign which is annoying given that I’m in the uk’2. The charge on the keyboard only lasts a 2 days before it needs charging again, I’ve had other that lasted for weeks on one charge and the only reason I didn’t go back to those was because the cases fell apart.3. The case doesn’t rotate which can be really inconvenient.

The case is great, it does a good job of protecting the device and it’s sturdy. The keyboard is also good as it is magnetic and stays on the case when in use however there are some cases where there is a small delay when a key is pressed and the character is displayed. It’s also loud for a membrane keyboard. Overall I think it’s a great case for the price point, the only small let down is the keyboard.

Brilliant case for the price. I use for college work and it has kept my iPad protected. Super easy to use and the backlit function is relatively easy to use with instruction and it looks great too. Not getting five stars just because the iPad doesn’t turn off when the case closes (with the keyboard inside)

I have an iPad for work for when I’m at home and this case and keyboard is excellent. Very sturdy and it doesn’t matter if I use it in a desk on on my lap it doesn’t collapse. Keyboard is great. I wanted a hard keyboard rather than a silicone one and this one is great. Battery life is good. At the moment it is used daily, 5 days a week all day and I’m only having to charge every other week.

Was very happy when this arrived. The case was easy to use and keyboard simple and quick to set up, and the backlights worked fine.However after less than 3 weeks the keyboard has three noticeable malfunctions.1. Sometimes, maybe one in every six times I open a file, it seem the keys are scrambled and that down cursor is being pressed. The cursor will plummet to the bottom of the file and only multiple resets can stop it.2. The backlights are stuck on a white light and cannot be turned off or changed. Pretty minor maybe, but using it in low light is now impossible as it’s pretty blinding.3. It often skips keys pressed in groups of 3 or 4, and regularly stops connecting to the iPad, necessitating reboots to fix in both cases.It’s a shame as the keyboard is light, well laid out and feels lovely to type on, but hasn’t lasted even a month.

I bought this iPad cover/keyboard to replace one that I had accidentally spilt water on. It arrived promptly, connected to my iPad easily and works well. However I find the cover extremely fiddly. I was like a monkey with a deckchair (picture it) trying to get it in the cover and stand it up. In the end a friend did it for me - doh! Because I prefer the angle of the iPad quite far back it means that I have to move the keyboard in order to close it properly. This is a hassle, so I just close it over without all the keys being covered until I switch it off before bed when I close it properly. This means that I have to be careful if I have a drink handy in case I spill it again. Otherwise it works fine, the keys are responsive but I wouldn’t buy it again as I prefer a case that just opens and closes without all the faffing about.
