Q: For people who have cats and know about cat litter on the floor....How good do you think this would be on sweeping the litter into the dustpan?

That's what I got it for and I love it. Pan lies flat to the floor so that the litter goes IN, not under.

Q: Does the dustpan swivel up when lifted off the floor, to keep what you swept into it from easily falling out? Heard both "yes" and "no" here.

It's designed to stay in one position while you are sweeping...when you are finished, push the handle toward the floor & away from you a bit. Then when you lift it off the floor it will swivel up.

Q: Does this dustpan sit flush against the floor?

This dustpan is designed to sit flush on the floor.

Q: Does the dustpan fold for storage?

The dust bail pivots allowing the dustpan to hang on the wall for storage.
