Samsung Gear VR Note9 Adapter for SM-R325 2017/2018

I have an earlier version of the GearVR and could not find a USB-C adapter that matched it. Finally I rolled the dice based on the reviews and while this adapter does not match the shape required for that Gear with a sharp knife you pare down the cross adapter to fit the older VR. Once its adjusted it fits in snugly and functions perfectly. Can now use my S9 with my older gear.

This adapter fits perfectly into my Gear VR headset when I upgraded my Note 8 to a new Note 9. Everything functioned perfectly like before. I am so glad they made the phone connector modular as this makes the Gear VR somewhat future proof.

I bought this and did not realize my VR was a 2016 and this is made for 2017 and up, so it did not fit my VR. However, with a little "hacking" (I just cut off a little piece of the adapter on the bottom that was preventing it from sliding on all the way) it works perfectly with my S8.

Its a good experience. The qaulity and speed with which the iteims i bought come are the best. Thumps up guys. Nice and convenient way to get quality

This is the same adapter That come with the VR I already had. This is not for the NOTE 9

I did have to file off part of the slider as it has an odd T shape which didn't fit into our Gear VR headset.Took a minute but once that nub was filed flat, it now slides on perfectly, locks as it should and my S9 edge works great with the headset.

Be aware if you have a 1st gen Gear the tabs are different. You have to file down the new adapter to fit in the GearEdit: I should add the product works fine with just the slight mod.

Delidered exactly as described and pictured. Since I have a 323 model i had to cut off the small, plastic "T" protruding from one side of the unit. Not an issue at all. Came off in 2 seconds with a razor. Everything works perfectly on my S9.
