It’s a lovely design and goes well in the monochrome room, however it is not a rug. It is as thin as a old fashioned linen bedsheet. It is not something I would recommend buying if you want to use it in a kids room for they to lie on and play, there is no comfort in it unfortunately. I did not return it as it is merely for looks in a holiday home and provides some entertainment for visiting children, but if it was for long term use in my son’s regular bedroom it would have gone back. Lovely to look at but not functional for a child to really spend time on the floor comfortably playing.
