I bought this system to monitor my store. 8 cameras are more than enough to cover the whole area. Because the system already comes with all cameras attributed for their own channels, therefore, you only need to install the cameras. Because it is wireless, you only need power cable. The only cons that I have realized is that the interface of the main module is not very friendly. If you do not have previous experience with other monitoring system, you will have hard time to set up record schedule and motion triggered recording module. However, this package offers very attractive value. 8 wireless camera + 1TB recording system + the possibility to access system through internet from anywhere for only 300 bucks is really attractive value.

I purchased this OHWOAI 1080P 8-CHANNEL NVR + 8PCS 1080P CAMERAS + 1TB HDD a few months ago and did not have any problems. THIS SYSTEM IS FANTASTIC, CAMERAS' RESOLUTION IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET, AND I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY!!! I installed cameras around my large house and placed a monitor in a common area so we can see all around the house (I have several entrance doors to my house), including our 3 dogs running around. Prior to this purchase I made extensive research on which system would be the best. NO QUESTION, I MADE AN EXCELLENT DECISION. I am an engineer with Ph.D. and a past Professor of best Engineering Universities in the US. I strongly recommend this system to everyone. Also, this company provides SUPERB & QUICK Technical Support in case you have any questions (my questions were very technical). Now, I am going to purchase the same system for my small business.

I purchased the 8 Channel 1080P NVR+8pcs 1080P cameras+1TB HDD on amazon in January 2019,In September The night vision on 1 camera stopped working, so I contacted ohwoai at 1(352)321-2450 Left a massage thy called me back in less than an hour, I was dealing with Wen (very nice to deal with) come to find out that I purchased from a third party and not them my order # was not theirs, after resending my order # again by email, she (Wen) contacted me back the next day to inform me of the situation.This company is and has been a pleasure to deal with, even though I purchased from third party and not them there replacing the camera for me.I would highly recommend this companyOh, and thank you Wen, and ohwoaiPS. Their security camera is extremely good quality

Good cameras when they work . Bought 2 of these systems . The receiver box stopped working after a month of use .Reached out to customer service from the manufacturer and they were an absolute nightmare to deal with requesting videos and pictures of the system being plugged in . We sent them the videos and all they did was ask for us to try another power source . Still waiting for the replacement box .

Did not receive hard drive with my order

Cameras work. System works. But the whole thing is cheesy and really useless. The cameras can not communicate through walls. The refresh rate is slow on the videos. Can only configure with a mouse connected to a monitor. Fittings on the cameras are cheesy and work loose.If you have a open area to monitor like an open office area, or warehouse, this would be fine for what it is. But a home, or anything with rooms and walls. Forget it.

Camera was easy to set up with a great picture. The only problem I had was one camera did not work.

The delay on video feed is sometimes around 5 seconds. The picture is not clear even on a HD monitor. The range of the wireless cameras is pathetic, around 25 feet. Even using to extended reach antenna. It will not receive a camera from right at 30 feet with almost a clear line of site from antenna to receiver. The reviews I read before purchasing this system had to have been filtered. I can not imagine I am the only person this dissatisfied with this product.
