Waterproof Collar, Large, Red Snapper

These are the best dog collars I have ever purchased! The fish designs are awesome, bright and clever, but most of all the collars are coated in some sort of tough, durable medical-grade silicone-type substance which keeps the collar clean and free of ground-in dirt or smell. I have had one of the collars on my dog for about a year now and all it needs every once in a while is a wipe with a wet paper towel and its as good as new. This dog's favorite past time is rolling in the mud, so I have definitely gotten my money's worth. Some of the other reviews complained about being too long or not having enough holes to adjust - just trim it and/or poke a new hole in it!! I did both to get the right fit and I encountered no problems and the collar is still 100% intact. If you are unsure of size, go with the larger one and you can always down-size it.

The media could not be loaded. We live in rural Idaho on a ranch and we do a lot of outdoor activities especially at the nearby lake. These are my absolute favorite collars to get my dogs! They last YEARS and never get gross or smell bad. A must have for dog owners

Excellent quality collar. This collar has held up very well over the few months I've had it. Color has stayed true and not faded. The hardware/buckle is very durable. Wears nicely and does not get tangled or caught in hair and she seems comfortable with it on. It's perfect for the trails or the dog park where other collars have gotten very dirty/muddy/slobbery and are a pain to clean. My only complaint would be that I got this while my puppy was still growing and even though I measured her neck and went with the smaller collar (knowing I may need to purchase a larger one if I liked it), there was plenty of left over collar hanging out the buckle. I didn't want to cut off the excess because she was still growing and I was worried that it would start peeling the waterproof coating away, but it was awkward on her neck. I didn't have a silicone watch band holder that fit the thickness of the collar, so I ended up using a rubber hair tie and that worked until her neck got a little thicker and went a few loops down on the collar.

My 75-lb dog has gone through about two collars per year for the past five years. We run, camp, and swim, so it's understandable that they get dirty. However, it's expensive to replace all of these collars the look so nasty after just a few months. I've tried so many different types of collars until finding this one. This is great! After many months, it still looks brand new. The coating on the collar protects it from moisture, grime, and stinky-ness, but it's still very comfortable for my dog. It does not seem to rub, and she doesn't itch beneath it like previous collars. I feel that I can trust the quality of the collar itself, as she's a heavy dog and the collar gets some weight pulled against it when we run. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality, durability, and fun color.

You will get tired of looking at this collar before it shows the first signs of wear! That's the only problem...we are ready to buy another one just so we have another pattern! We are very particular with collars for our dogs and these are the best out there. Heavy duty metal buckle (plastic snap collars always seem to break) and the most resilient odor free material. We have a Pointer/Weim mix who shows no mercy to her collars and it still looks perfect 2 years later. And the collar on our beagle survived a direct skunk attack. Rinsed it off, let it dry, no odor or damage. WOW! Wish I could have said the same for the beagle :)

Bought for my dog that was between a small and medium. I love the pattern on this one but since she's on the smaller side (around 25 lbs) the thickness of the collar looked a bit silly. Sadly, they don't make this pattern in a small so I went with the reflective collar. Durable as anything and would highly recommend buying one for your dog!

I have a Brittany who loves the water and isn't afraid to get his paws dirty. We got the medium Mahi Mahi collar and it looks great on him and doesn't bother his skin or fur like other collars can (he has sensitive, dry skin). So far it's been durable and hasn't faded or worn, though it's only been a few weeks. It also works with those slide-on tags! The only negative thing I have to say is that the colors aren't quite as bright as shown in the pictures on the site. Other than that, it gets the job done.One side note: I don't use the collar as a way to attach his leash to him - I use a harness for that. Therefore, I cannot rate how it is in that regard.
