The ProTEK has two mounting options: standard and rapid release. Unlike other brands, you do not have to remove your Cobra ProTEK shield to trailer your ATV as long as it faces forward. The ProTEK has a universal fit that comes with or without a headlight cutout and with black graphics. No more fitment issues, our new mounts are more universal than ever allowing our four shield options (ProTEK, Sport Shield, with headlight cut-out and without) to fit over 80 percent of current ATV models. Our unique two-point mounting system is universal and makes installation quick and easy. Unlike some shields, you don't have to remove a Cobra shield to trailer your ATV (ATV must be facing forward). Cobra ATV shields are made of high quality optical-grade polycarbonate featuring scratch-resistant surface and distortion free optics. Approximate shield sizes are: 20 inches height x 36 inches width. The Cobra II and ProTEK fits most models except for the Honda Rincon, all Bombardier models (except Rally), Kawasaki Prairie and Brute Force. For fitment - stand in front of your ATV and if you can see the upsweep part of your handlebars this shield will work on your ATV. The mounting brackets come straight out from the upsweep bars and will work even if you have a headlight pod. Decide if you want a black base or all clear shield and choose between a headlight cut-out or no cut-out. The rapid release mount kit offers almost instant removal of any PowerMadd Cobra II Windshield. The rapid release mount offers all of the benefits of the standard mount plus a quick release function. Loosen the jam nut and pull the pin, its that easy. The fixed mount kit offers a unique two-point universal mounting system which makes installation quick and easy.

Looks nice but cheap soft plastic.
I mounted this on my 2002 polaris 500HO. It fit ok but could and should have ordered the one without the cut out as now I have a big hole to fill. I would have given it a 5 star but it is made of very flimsy plastic which scratches very very easily. It sustained scratches while i was installing the windshield brackets on my work bench and on the plastic bag it came in. Im sure it is the same quality as the other brand windshields offered. They should be priced as half of what they are when looking at what you get. Since it is touted as trailerable I thought it would be a thick and strong as my motorcycle shield, it is not. I do not think I would trailer it without taking it off. If it doesnt hold up at least i have the brackets and can buy a thicker plastic and make my own shield.

Nice windshield. Really like the design and ease of the quick disconnect. Lots of adjust-ability in the brackets so you can get it how you want it (both up down, tilt, and distance form handlebars. It is a universal fit so won't be perfect but it has a very good look. I wish they had a better picture for the advertisement as this is a very nice modern looking windshield. I have it on a 2003 Rubicon. they windshield cut-out is a little wide and the flares for the portion over the grips are a little to high but it did work very well keeping the 25deg F cold wind off of my hands and torso and I am 6'5". I do with it was 2-3" taller due to my height.

Get what you pay for
You get what you pay for on this windshield. It is nice that it is easily removable with brackets that stay on the handlebars, but the plastic is very thin and flimsy. The curves make it hard to see through and it vibrates like crazy. The only real option for this is to mount it low and look over the windshield. It will do the job in the winter keeping the cold air from freezing your face off, but don't expect much from this item.

I love the way it mounts
the mounts are great with only one brace on the handle bar of the 4 wheeler, the brace on the windshield gives the windshield more support. the windsheild it could be a little taller it hits me about my chin, because I am 5' 10" tall.
