The 4 citrus scents actually make your brain think you are getting ready to eat the fruit. Amazing. Smells so true. The pepermint and spearmint have distinctly different smells; both are fresh, potent, clean and true. Clove and cinnamon are typically my favorite smells; both smelled true but more earthy than I expected. Red thyme is so sweet, yummy, rich and addictive; this one was a pleasant surprise to me. Vanilla smells nice but a bit weak to me as I typically enjoy taking a hit of a sniff off the vanilla extract in my fridge. I typically adore fresh ginger root but was not a fan of this scent. Also, off putting for me was the basil, nutmeg and oregano. The oregano had a distinct petroleum type smell to it which concerns me. Even though I will only use 10 of the scents, this was a nice introduction to oils

Good set for somebody starting out on essential oils as I am and wants to try out different oils and see what they smell like. I can't vouch for how "pure" they are as I am a newbie but I am happy enough experimenting different blends with the set. My only gripe with this product is that the reducer/dropper caps are horrible. Hard to control the amount of oil that comes out. It either gets stuck or dribble out more drops than you intend.

One of the reasons I ordered this product was for the tangerine oil! Try adding about 2 or 3 drops per potato before mashing and whipping them up with butter fore serving for a delicious new taste! My local Sprouts does no carry food grade essential oils so... The thing to remember is less is more. As for the others, think about it...you want to make a dish and are missing the ginger you though was in the house...now you have the flavor in your cabinet. I love cooking with oils.

This Kitchen Set is true to its name. The scents are lovely and fill my room so you'd think I'd been cooking when I haven't. My favorites are Basil, Oregano, Red Thyme but I find the Ginger and Clove to be off-putting. Ginger definitely does not smell like real ginger and Clove seems very strong and just kind of 'off'. Great for discovering new scents but in the future I'll only buy those that I really enjoy.

I have only diffused one and haven't used any in my water or food yet but I did open every bottle to smell them and they smell fabulous! I may have to see if you have other sets like these to purchase : )

All of the essential oils are wonderful. The only one that didn't smell as expected was the ginger. It smelled a little rancid. However, once you put it in a balm, oil, or scrub, it actually smells like ginger.

I ordered the kitchen set from Plant Guru and I can say it's the best essential oils for sale on Amazon. I cured an earache with the Oregano oil. I used the Four Gurus blend in the cold and flu season and my entire household stayed healthy and well. PLANT GURU is the best..

this is a wonderful set with all the most used scents. the only thing I would like is the droppers to be more precise. some of the bottles don't drip well but that is a very small problem the set rocks
