Item well constructed, seems to be a durable material, repacks easily in its compact storage bag

My first impression is pretty good, but I haven't had a chance to use it outdoors yet. This coat is definitely a great idea but I can see some room for improvements on this one.First off; the snaps are ridiculously strong. I had to use a small screwdriver to get some of them apart, as I was otherwise afraid to pull too hard in fear of tearing the fabric. Maybe they will loosen over time, but still way too strong right now. I think I could live without the funky green buttons too.The other comment I have is the size. I’m an xxl kind of guy (not fat xxl), but didn’t see an option for size when I made the purchase - so it was a gamble on whether it would fit or not. Luckily, this large was just big enough to fit me, but just barely. So note this coat runs a little larger, which it should.One more thing; there was no packaging - the item was in its small stuff sack, in the shipping box, and no other rapping - I thought that was odd.The last thing is; I think this is somewhat over priced for what you get. Maybe the fabric is worth the price, and maybe it fairly priced and I'm wrong, but it seems a little pricey for what you get. - but it was exactly what I wanted to have in my pack.

It ain't zombie-proof but it will keep the wind off your back.

Fantastic Jacket I keep it in my back pack at all times. I love the fact that i could use this in the rain or as a wind breaker and then fill the pockets with different materials like leaves or grocery bags to make it into a thicker coat more suitable for cold weather. Love it !

Bit on the big side when not stuffed with insulation but That’s fine. Already used and tested it, works nicely. No substitute for a full jacket but good for unexpected adventures
